VirtualProtect and app crash: what's your interpretation?
Here is my thought process on why the application crashes with a
protection violation reading a section of memory.
I used IDA to disassemble the app. Here's the section where it reads
from memory and crashes because of a protection violation:

[LLVMdev] Need more information on llvm.dbg.value call
Hi all,
I'm using clang + LLVM 2.9. Let's consider following code sample:
extern void bar(int x) ;
void foo(int y)
{
bar(y) ;
}
When compiled with clang at -O2 -g I've got following LLVM file:

[LLVMdev] v3.0 type system rewrite question
Hi,
I have a question regarding the LLParser and the new type system
rewrite when running the JIT. I think there may be a problem with the
parser not picking up on named types currently defined in a given
Module (global context). However, I don't have much experience with
the LLVM internals so there's a good chance that I'm not fully
understanding the new changes ;)
