ISDN on CentOS
Hi Folks, I'm using ISDN-Connections extensively because ADSL is not available. So far it works fine "out of the box" (CentOS 5 PAE). Two questions: 1. for which the fcpci-kernel-modules from atrpm-Repo are useful? 2. Whats about channel bundling? Does CentOS bundling automaticly on every established connection (if it is selected in Network-Configuration) or is it only

wpa_supplicant and machine freezes
Hi Folks, I'd like to install my USB-WLAN-Stick Netgear WG111v3. But by calling wpa_supplicant with wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -d machine freezes. My wpa_supplicant.conf:

Fritz! Card/CAPI Help.
Hi list, i'm keen to move to Asterisk 1.6, so really need to update my system which is running Mandrake 9.2 although it has been solid for years, fo Fedora 8. AVM Fritz crash
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Not strictly Asterisk related, but I'm trying to get an AVM Fritz! card to work with Asterisk on a Fedora Core 3 box. I've grabbed the official AVM Fritz CAPI driver from the AVM website and compiled against the current kernel. However, as soon as I modprobe it I get: CAPI Subsystem Rev 1.1.2.8 fcpci: module license 'Proprietary'

Problems with Dovecot 1.0 beta7 rpm form atrpm for RHEL4
Hi, I just want to install dovecot 1.0 beta7 from atrpm and noted that it depends on a non official dependency. If you have RHEL4 (Centos) 4.3 fully updated and you try to install: http://dl.atrpms.net/all/dovecot-1.0-0_10.99.beta7.el4.at.i386.rpm You get this error: # rpm -ivh dovecot-1.0-0_10.99.beta7.el4.at.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: openssl >= 0.9.7f-4 is needed by

Hi list I'm still trying to get managesieve running on centos x64 with the packages from atrpm. I used the 1.2.9 rpms (also rebuilt with the lastet managesieve patches) but I'm always getting the same error when trying to compile managesieve: ./configure --with-dovecot=/usr/lib64/dovecot/ --with-dovecot-sieve=/work/dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.14 (no errors) make gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.

ndiswrapper and 4K stacks problem (system freezes)
Hi Folks, I'm trying tio install WLAN - USB - Stick Netgear WG111v3. ndiswrapper -i wg111v3 works. I can see ndiswrapper -l wg111v3: driver installed device (0846:4260) present But after modprobe ndiswrapper the system freezes. Troublshooting on ndiswrapper-sites says: It's a problem of "kernel is using 4K stacks (CONFIG_4KSTACKS)" Solution: recompile the kernel.

Kernel panic with two Fritz cards
So I've got a PBX running with one Fritz card with the fcpci module and that works fine, but add another one and... kersplat... Kernel Panic. It boots fine with two cards, but panics as soon as the first fcpci.ko module is 'modprobe'd - I don't even get as far as modprobing the second. Any ideas on what's going on? Should I just back-up to an older version of the fcpci module

Réf. : Re: Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
I tried that but it still doesn't work... I think I don't have the correct approach. Have I to install any ISDN drivers (=modules ?) BEFORE dealing with CAPI ? If yes, why shouldn't I use the hisax drivers (which are kernel ones) instead of fcpci drivers (which doesn't seems to work, by the way...) And finally, how is it possible to link the two modules together? As you can see,

Anyone using fuse and/or sshfs under Centos 4.4?
Hi A search of google failed to show any prebuilt rpms for sshfs and fuse. I do see that fuse support is in 2.6.14 kernel which isn't a whole lot of help. Before I dive headlong into this has anyone successfully built fuse/sshfs against Centos 4.4. If so would you share your experience? Thanks Daveh

Trying to understand Suspend 2
I am trying to understand Suspend 2 and what I have to do to get it working in Centos 5. There is quite a bit for it at ATrpms: http://www.atrpms.net/dist/el5/hibernate-suspend2/ http://www.atrpms.net/dist/el5/kernel-suspend2/ The later is the kernel patches that they refer to at the Suspend2 website, so I don't have to recompile the kernel? I noticed that over at:

Hello, I am using a system with an AVM ISDN PCI card (fcpci) and asterisk with chan_capi-cm-0.6. The hardware is connected to a Siemens Hipath 3550 PBX. As a BRI connection has 2 channels and allows 2 simultaneous calls, numbers/MSNs 6391 and 6392 were for provisioned for each channel. The system is working (partly, read on), the trick is the correct cable wiring and setup the PBX's port

madwifi on Centos 5.2, kernel 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5
Hello, I just installed Centos 5.2 on my wife's IBM thinkpad T41 with Atheros wireless. It looks like I need to install madwifi to get the wireless to work. Our home wireless network uses WPA2 I found the EL5 rpms at atrpms, but there is no madwifi-kmdl rpms for kernel 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5. So, to get the wireless working on my home network, what's the shortest path from here? Install

atrpms nvidia cannot load
Hi guys - brand new 5.1 install here and quite happy - but... The nv driver did not work at all for me, fritzy stripes and dots. This is a GeForce 7300 LE which was working happily dual-head under FC6 with the livna nvidia RPMs So I looked around and it seemed like the ATRpms repo via yum was the best option for CentOS. This is what I installed, it worked great with the xorg.conf from the
