Please Cc:, as I'm not subscribed to the list. I'm trying to port openssh to embedded cris arch. Cross compiling
I really have no idea of what's needed for cross-compiling. If you find out what needs to be added, please send me a patch. Cross compiling
Hello all, I'm trying to build speex library for a CRIS processor running Linux. The configure seems to fail. Here is the command I use wich works to build libogg : ./configure --host=cris --prefix=/home/axis/devboard_lx/target/cris-axis-linux-gnu/usr/local --exec-prefix=/home/axis/devboard_lx/target/cris-axis-linux-gnu/usr/local (I have all my target files in this directory :

[PATCH] fix non-RT sigsuspend()
While the userspace function signature is int sigsuspend(const sigset_t *maskptr) there are several variants of how this is mapped into kernel functions: one for rt_sigsuspend and several, mutually incompatible, legacy ones, split by architectures. Before this commit, klibc did not care about that and passed maskptr as first and only argument to the syscall, leading to junk in other argument

Two things...
1. Would one of the Wiki admins help unwind my Wiki credentials? I originally registered as "crisrhea" (lower case), but was told I should have used "CrisRhea" (camel case). I logged in and changed my preferences to use CrisRhea, but I can't access/edit my pages (/CrisRhea, /HowTos/Xen/NvidiaWithXen). Can one of the admins please fix my rights on these two

[GIT PULL v2 1/5] processor.h: introduce cpu_relax_yield
For spinning loops people do often use barrier() or cpu_relax(). For most architectures cpu_relax and barrier are the same, but on some architectures cpu_relax can add some latency. For example on power,sparc64 and arc, cpu_relax can shift the CPU towards other hardware threads in an SMT environment. On s390 cpu_relax does even more, it uses an hypercall to the hypervisor to give up the timeslice.
