[PATCH] Add some libgcc stuff to ia64's Makefile.inc
Hi,
Here is a fix for some missing libgcc magic in the ia64 build. A recent
problem with udev uncovered this. PPC needs a similar fix. Olaf will
send a patch, I imagine.
Both unified diff and bk diff (for Bryan) are attached.

Unsupported system calls
Also there are lines as follows:
<ppc64> int stat::stat(const char *, struct stat *);
Should they be changed likewise too..? I mean to <?>
Thanks,
Anil

Unsupported system calls
OK, I will change all <!aarch64> to <?> then. How about lines declared like
the following:
<!alpha,aarch64,ia64,mips,mips64,sh,sparc,sparc64> int pipe(int *);
Should they also be changed to <?> ?
Thanks and Regards,
Anil

klibc 2.0 release
The stdio klibc branch got merged into klibc properly,
meaning the I/O being buffered. klibc gained with it
support for several stream functions. This massive work
got authored by hpa.
ipconfig saw several note worthy enhancement allowing the
generation of a proper lease file.
kinit added fs mount according to /etc/fstab or bootparam.
Plus several arch fixes for the usual suspects: alpha, i386,

ia64 mis-merge
Peter,
There was a mis-merge in the ia64 patch you put into 0.83. Olaf Hering
pointed it out. The patch is attached. Olaf claims that he is still
unable to compile for ia64 with is toolchain. He's getting the
following error:
<olh> libc.so(.got+0x0): multiple definition of `_GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_'
<olh> tests/getenvtest.o(.got.plt+0x0): first defined here

I just merged Sam's new build code into the stock klibc tree.
Please holler if something breaks.

[klibc 00/43] klibc as a historyless patchset
As some people have requested, here is klibc as a historyless patchset
against 2.6.17. The patchset consists of two parts: changes to the
main kernel code taken straight from the git history (as it is rather
few patches), and additions, grouped by rough divisions.
The majority of the patches are independent in the sense that they
should apply independently, but Makefile/Kbuild files may have to

fsc branch: merged ldlinux.asm and extlinux; failing test
Hi,
I merged ldlinux.asm and extlinux.asm on the fsc branch, observing that
there were very little difference between them left. So far, so good.
I found, however, a test which fails on the fsc branch (with or without
the merge.) I have tracked it down to vfat_mangle_name() overwriting a
bunch of random .bss16 memory, eventually including the CallbackSP variable.

[klibc 38/43] Simple test suite for klibc
[klibc] Simple test suite for klibc
A very simple handful of tests for klibc. This is not by any
means an exhaustive test suite, nor are most of the tests
auto-verifying, but they are very useful to spot common porting
problems.

ppc32: "Relocation truncated to fit"
Hello ppc32 users,
I think I finally got the "official" answer on the ppc32 problem. Apparently some
distributions build binutils so that it defaults to elf32ppc emulation rather than
elf32ppclinux. This doesn't matter when using gcc, since gcc overrides the emulation
explicitly, but it does matter when invoking ld directly like klibc does.
This patch should hopefully take
