similar to: k3b 1.0.3, qt and C5 64-bit?

I'm able to get ./configure to get past the Qt error but now it complains that kdelibs isn't installed, or the version of qt doesn't match kdelibs. Everything was yum installed, and this is on CentOs 5 64-bit. Thanks for additional configuration help. Scott

Copying a CD with k3b is no problem, except I want to include on my copy the cbbd data (from freedb.org). I've configured k3b's cddb section according to instructions at <http://www.freedb.org/en/faq.3.html#15> and read every article google could find about "k3b cddb freedb.org config", but still k3b can't manage it. Grip handles getting the cddb data just fine.

When I try to burn anything to cd, I get a message to insert a CD large enough for my file (normally an ISO image). Doesn't matter if the iso image is a 600Mb Centos ISO or a 48Mb DSL ISO. Same warning. My CD-Rs are Memorex 700MB/80min 52x disks that work just fine on XP systems. So what am I missing configuration-wise?

I create DVDs from camcorder output. In the past I've always just dragged the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders into k3b and the disk has burned successfully. I've got a RHEL5 server acting as a NIS/NFS server, and connected one C5 machine just fine. I'm trying to connect another, and for the life of me, cannot figure out why NIS won't bind. NFS works fine. ypbind just hangs. I disabled SELinux and the firewall. I just cannot get it to bind. Ideas? Thanks. Scott

So right now I have installed k3b on this notebook. I am using my Storix DVD/CDRW usb drive. I can read cds with it. Cannot burn CDs. First k3b suggests slowing down (from 8x to 4x). Then use TAO. Then it gave up. So I try cdrecord directly. -checkdrive finds some interesting things. Got to close the drive manually; cdrecord says it can't. then try a cdrecord -v dev=dev/scd0 sample.iso

Hi, I am having some issues with CentOS 5. -XMMS stops playing MP3s without apparent reason. I leave it playing some album and it will just stop whenever it feels like it. It will go into "pause" and just stay there. Pressing on the pause button to resume does nothing at all.
