I had posted the problem described below about two weeks ago, and I would like to add some odd behaviour even on machines where the zip image is loaded correctly (without divide by zero). The source for lm_sensors says not to compile the modules for the 2.6 kernel. The information from Tyan says that I need to compile the modules if my kernel is less than 2.6.12. Tyan release some lm_sensors conf files and other information which I have done, but I am not getting any cpu temps.
