15-min mean values
Good day everyone, I want to use zoo(aggregate) to calculate 15-min mean values from a wind dataset which has 1-min values. The data I have looks like this: vector VDATE vector WS 1 1998-10-22:02:11 12.5 2 1998-10-22:02:12 10.1 3 1998-10-22:02:13 11.2 4 1998-10-22:02:14 10.5 5 1998-10-22:02:15 11.5 . . . n

Calculation of daily max
Good day everyone. I have a large dataset of 1 min wind speeds covering 5 years. How can I make an array of maximum daily values? The vectors I have are: 'VDATE' with dates in format '%Y-%m-%d' (like '1992-10-28') and 'WS' with wind speed data (same number of elements as VDATE). I want an array with 2 columns: Max daily wind speed and corresponding day. Has

ensembleBMA pit function warnings
Hello Chris,  I 've found two other issues  with MAE and CRPS, giving warning  when running examples. I've the same issue on my data.  Hope that you could find some time to take a look here. Thank you Anna > library(ensembleBMA) Loading required package: chron > example(MAE) MAE>   data(ensBMAtest) MAE>   ensMemNames <-

I: ensembleBMA pit function warnings
Hello! I'm having some problems with  pit function in ensembleBMA. When I run on mu data I have the same warnings as below, when I type the example(pit). Any suggestion on how to resolve it? > library(ensembleBMA) Loading required package: chron > example(pit) pit>   data(ensBMAtest) pit>   ensMemNames <-

median comparison tests
Hi, A client has a consumption measure on each of four products. The sample size is 75. The consumption distributions are highly skewed for each product. He would like a pairwise comparison test of the products, much like Tukey's HSD but using medians rather than means. Is there such a median comparison test in R? Thanks, Walt ________________________ Walter R. Paczkowski, Ph.D.

declaring negative log likelihood of a distribution
Hi everyone! I already posted http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/Declaring-a-density-function-with-for-loop-td4635699.html a question on finding density values of a new Binomial like distribution which has the following pmf: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/file/n4636134/kb.png Thank fully http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/template/NamlServlet.jtp?macro=user_nodes&user=124474 Berend Hasselman and
