The security id structure is invalid
I recently upgraded Samba on my DC from a working 4.3 installation to 4.5.0. Once done, I followed the instructions here: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Updating_Samba#Fixing_replPropertyMetaData_Attributes and ran: samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix --yes After that, I can no longer access the shares on this machine. I get the "Security ID structure is invalid" error above. In

Improper directory removal causes file system havoc (PR#11738)
Full_Name: Michael Bauer Version: 2.7.0 OS: Solaris 10 (sparc) Submission from: (NULL) (130.64.21.7) When running 'make check' on a fresh R 2.7.0 build on Solaris 10 (sparc), reg-tests-1.R fails consistently because the test directory /tmp/R<random> cannot be deleted. The reason for the deletion failure is because the file system thinks that the directory is still full, as its

Improper directory removal causes file system havoc (PR#11747)
This is not general on Solaris 10 -- it works for others, as the R-admin manual told you. What sort of file system is the test being run on? It does look very like a Solaris file system bug. Asterisk 16.6.1: PJSIP: delayed action of core since update to 16.6.1
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hello, we're running a small Asterisk appliance on a PCengine APU2C4. Base operating system is FreeBSD 12-STABLE, most recent incarnation as of today. Since update of port net/asterisk16 to the latest bug fix revision 16.6.1, we face a severe "slowdown" of everything that the Asterisk core performs, i.e. outgoing calls are delayed ~

exiting mclapply early on error
Thanks for the response, Jeremie. I wholeheartedly agree about testing. In my case, this feature would be used purely to reduce computation time. I?m calculating an expensive (and embarrassingly parallel) likelihood function, and for some parameter combinations my objective function diverges to infinity. In those instances, I?d like to throw an error that stops subsequent computations and that I

spatial interaction (gravity) model as Poisson regression
Dear list, I posted essentially this same question to the r-sig-geo mailing list last week with no response :( Unfortunately I am no closer to reaching a solution, so I now post it here (with some clarifications) in the hope that someone following this list might have an answer for me: Has anyone had much experience with spatial interaction (or gravity) models, specifically in the form of

How to handle failed finds.
What''s the best way to handle a find that doesn''t find anything? For example. Model Foo @result = Foo.find(:first, :condition => "some condtion string").name if the condition is not met Foo.find stops the application with ''unexpected nil''. What is the best way to gracefully trap this error and return something meaningfull to the calling

Hi, I am getting the following error in the server mail logfile: > Sep 2 18:39:44 h648123 dovecot: IMAP(<account>)(<PID>): Disconnected: BUG: Unknown internal error (mail_debug is on, but there is not really much context for this in the log file, ie. no log events for several minutes, and then it appears, all of a sudden).
