putting circles/buffers arround points on a 2D graph/plot
Hi, I'll try to keep my question brief and to the point, to anyone who helps 'THANK YOU!' I want to get a circle/ring/buffer or some other form of drawn line around certain points on a x,y plot, the points usually don't form a circle, often they form a 'wobbly' shape, so ideally I'd like something that follows the shape the points make. Lattice wireframe: How to avoid drawing lines around polygons when using shade=TRUE
I am using wireframe from the lattice package, with the shade option set to TRUE. When I output to PDF or Postscript, a line gets drawn around each polygon of my surface which causes ugly Moir? effects and doesn't make sense in my application (think the plot of Maunga Whau--gridlines don't make sense). Shade and minimize to notification area.
Hi, Thanks for all the great work on compiz, you guys have been great, the shade function works wonderfuly. There's a minor, or not so minor, thing I noticed, if I try to shade an application which minimizes to systray, it shades until it leaves a titlebar-sized artifact on the screen, then I can only activate it again after clicking the notification area icon again. Shade area under curve?
Hi all, I've got this graphics question which really should be easy. I want to shade an area between bounds under a curve. A suitable beginning seems to be the following: > plot(dnorm,-4,4) > segments(-4,0,4,0) > segments(-2,0,-2,dnorm(-2)) > segments(2,0,2,dnorm(2)) It is the area between -2 and 2 which I want to shade (or something similar).
