change the height or scale of the y axis
Hallo, All,
I have a question about changing the height or scale of the y axis. When I
use following two R codes, I can get two plots. Please look at the y axes,
the number of indices (x1, x2, ?) on the y axis in the first plot is smaller
than that in the second plot, and hence the space between any two indices in
the first plot is wider than that in the second plot. As the number of
indices

Samba | Windows FindNextChangeNotification API call
Support,
We currently develop a Windows based product that reads ASCII files and
saves the data into different database types. Currently, we have a customer
running Samba on his UNIX machine so our product can read the files off this
system. After running tests at his site, we have found that the Windows
FindNextChangeNotification API is not being triggered on the Samba directory
after a period

Seems like the message got filtered on BUGTRAQ, I'd still
think at least some of the people on this list may have an

I have it connected via USB. My ups.conf looks like:

glm.predict?
I've been attempting to calculate the predictions from a poisson glm
object, along these lines:
predict(foo.glm, type = "response")
and
predict(foo.glm, type = "response", se.fit = TRUE)
foo.glm is arrived at this way:
foo.glm <- glm(Insects ~ Dad * Mum + Location, offset = log(MM), family
= "poisson", data = model.df)

Using Dovecot LDA with Sendmail
Hi all,
After looking at the LDA/Sendmail page in the dovecot wiki, I wanted
to contribute another method to easily configure Sendmail to use
deliver. Instead of adding a new mailer definition, as already
suggested, one can simply use the following line in their sendmail.mc
file instead:
FEATURE(`local_procmail', `/usr/libexec/dovecot/deliver', `deliver

Router for SOHO network - hardware considerations
Hi,
Last week I finished installing a small network in a private school :
one server (an old IBM X225), seventeen desktops (Fujitsu Siemens PIV
2.4 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HD), all running CentOS 5.5.
One extra machine is acting as a router, in that it is installed between
the DSL modem and the network, with two Ethernet cards, and it's taking
care of DHCP, DNS, NTP and also acts like a

Sync command is run on server2 using:

Problem enabling write-back cache for IBM ServeRAID controller in CENTOS 4.2
Hi,
I have just upgraded an IBM Xseries x225 server to CentOS 4.2 (from
CentOS 3.6) and found out that write back cache is not enabled for the
drive representing the RAID array. The RAID controller has 128 MB
battery backed cache. Write back cache is enabled in the controller
configuration (using the IBM boot cd) and verified using the IBM
RaidManager utility, but the boot messages show that

sieve-body extension support for deliver LDA's sieve plugin
Hi Timo & Co,
Is there any time frame for updating the deliver LDA's sieve plugin
code to that from Cyrus IMAPd v2.3.x?
I ask as I'm looking for the functionality of the sieve-body
extension, as described here:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-sieve-body-06.txt
This requirement has come up as we're upgrading from a
Courier-IMAP/maildrop configuration that has

problem with kqueue
Hello,
I'm a new user of Dovecot (since 1.0b8) and I'ld report about a
possible bug.
Situation:

x86 machine (IBM x206, P4 3.2 Ghz)
local filesystem UFS2
This is an internal, experimental, mail server running Postfix and
Dovecot configured with Maildirs e IMAP-only access.
Clients are quite few, now, just because it's an

Help Help with sampling
Hi everyone,
I have a dataset(named "Mydata") which includes 4 different variables named;
s1,s2,s3,s4 .Each variable(symptom) has 14 patients.
I need to use random sampling to make, 5 different samples from my data with
5 patients in each sample. i.e. using all 4 variables I need to make 5
different samples by changing patients(with 5 patients in each sample).

partition table Cent4RC1
I just installed CentRC1 on a Dell gx150 as a test. I'm running into the same problem I had with Fc3. I get a partition table error when trying to use ghost8 to create an image. I was considering putting Cent4 on a ProliantDL380, FC3 installed on that machine but wouldn't boot up, stuck on Grub. I had FC2 on the Proliant but when FC2 went to the 2.6 kernel, it hung up on the Nash prompt.

Double DTMF digits
When dtmfmode is set to inband for SIP, and i originate a call from sip
out to the PSTN, I can hear the DTMF digit twice in the audio stream.
Once very briefly and once for normal duration.
Our Theory: While Asterisk is parsing the DTMF, for a fraction of a
second, while the end user generated DTMF is being detected, the DTMF is
passed inband. Once the DTMF is detected Asterisk silences it

Permissions causing full backups?
I am using rsync/rsnapshot on Windows XP (via cygwin) to backup to a mapped
share (/u) on a Linux server. I’m hoping to get this to work so that I
don’t have to open an XP share to the network for Linux “pull” backups.
My current setup doesn’t seem to give me incremental backups. See the “du”
output…
