Mocking to spec a sort_by method
Hello, I have a question regarding the use of Mocha with rSpec to spec one of my methods. My spec contains the following vehical1 = mock() vehical2 = mock() vehical1.stubs(:mph).returns(150) vehical2.stubs(:mph).returns(250) comparer.add_vehical([@vehical1, @vehical2]) comparer.sort_by(:mph) The comparer is an object that has a basic "stack like" functionality, add_vehical is the

[LLVMdev] Path profiling command
Hi All! I was involved in the LLVM profiling business during late 2009 and early 2010 but I was not working on the path profiling but the "regular" profiling code. So I'm only guessing in case there is not other answer. On 9 May 2011 20:19, Andrew Trick <atrick at apple.com> wrote: > > On May 9, 2011, at 3:36 AM, Linh Ho Tran wrote: > > [...] > > The error

POSIXct and chron issues with tz
Dear All- I am trying to merge two data files - they have different date formats and different times zones. I need to match up the date/time of the datasets and then invoke a conditional statement, such as: if dataC$mph is >= 12 then keep dataM$co23 for the corresponding time/date stamp. snippets of data files: *dataC.txt* LST in mph Deg DegF DegF2 % volts Deg

data format issue
Dear all- I have a dataset (see a sample below - but the whole dataset is June 2005 - June 2008). The "LST" format is "YYMMDDHHmm" and I would like to get the hourly average of the "mph" for the summer months (spanning all years). I have been trying to use "aggregate" but am not having much success at all! any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It is better to use less indepent varibles. that is how can I select my indepent varibles. Maybe GA is good

windrose color ramp issue
Greetings! I'm having an issue with the windrose produced by the windrose function from the circular package. For our weather stations in North Carolina I'm helping with a script which takes hourly wind speed and direction data to create windroses for our end users. One of the stations in the mountains frequently reaches wind speed of 40 to 60 mph and in storms can reach wind speed over

multiroot() anyone?
Dear list, Did anybody have something like multiroot(), similar to uniroot() only for several varibles/function? I know the difficulty several varibles bring. But for nice functions, it can be useful. We are thinking of writing one....I thought to ask first.
