Asus P5B-VM DO board?
Anyone had any success with or hints for a system based on the Asus P5B-VM DO board, or the Intel Q965 (with its associated Intel GMA 3000 VGA chip) in general? I had to put pci=nommconf in order to get the installer (CentOS 4.5) and the installed system to boot, but I can't get the graphics to work. Following the instructions at the Intel website

[PATCH] drm: Mark expected switch fall-throughs
In preparation to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough, mark switch cases where we are expecting to fall through. Warning level 3 was used: -Wimplicit-fallthrough=3 Notice that, in some cases, the code comment is modified in accordance with what GCC is expecting to find. This patch is part of the ongoing efforts to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough. Signed-off-by: Gustavo A. R. Silva <gustavo at

[PATCH v3 01/19] drm: Add |struct drm_gem_vram_object| and helpers
The type |struct drm_gem_vram_object| implements a GEM object for simple framebuffer devices with dedicated video memory. The BO is either located in VRAM or system memory. The implementation has been created from the respective code in ast, bochs and mgag200. These drivers copy their implementation from each other; except for the names of several data types. The helpers are currently build with

[PATCH -next 0/7] drm: Remove many unnecessary NULL values
The NULL initialization of the pointers assigned by kzalloc() or kunit_kzalloc() first is not necessary, because if the kzalloc() or kunit_kzalloc() failed, the pointers will be assigned NULL, otherwise it works as usual. so remove it. [PATCH 2/3] ACPI/DRM: rework ACPI_VIDEO Kconfig dependencies
ACPI_VIDEO keeps causing problems with circular Kconfig dependencies, as it depends on a couple of other symbols, and it gets selected by drivers that may end up being depending on others. This is an attempt to simplify this by changing all drivers that currently 'select ACPI_VIDEO' to use 'depends on'. This by itself simplifies the dependency lists for the other drivers. We make

Music on Hold doesn't play back for external callers
Hey all; I am experiencing an issue with music on Hold. I am running asterisk version 1.4.22, and have a default script set up in two places for MoH playback. For internal devices to my network that are SIP peering with asterisk, they simply dial 123 and hear the MoH music immediately. I'm using the default setup, where it just plays the wave files in the /var/lib/asterisk/moh directory. I

Hi All, I am using Linux 2.6.15 kernel. I want to create 4094 bridge interface but I am able to see only 32 bridge interfaces with the help of "brctl show". I am able see other interfaces into /proc/net/dev but brctl is not showing more then 32. It is also not allowing any operations (add/del) over those interfaces. Is it correct behaviour or I have do some changes in some settings.?

New User Issues
I just found RSpec and was trying to do the example on the main page for RSpec (the bowling example). I''m using Ubuntu and did the normal "sudo gem install rspec" and then tried to create the bowling_spec.rb file. When I ran spec bowling_spec.rb, I was missing the cucumber gem, installed that, reran and was missing the hoe gem, installed that, reran and it gave me the a missing
