Bug#614101: Debian 6.0 amd64 doesn't boot with Xen on Toshiba u300-13u
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-2
Either Xen, or the Dom0 kernel (I guess you know better) spits out
error messages about ata4 containing "status: { DRDY ERR }" (similar
error can be found googling DRDY ERR).
I'm not putting the whole error message here because I couldn't
copy-paste the message at the booting stage.
I'm adding the autoconfigured menu

Problems with Broadcom 4312 wireless
I'm migrating my son's Dell laptop from Vista to CentOS 5.3. He came
back from each of his first two years of college loaded with virii and
trojans. This year he said "Dad, can you give me Linux?"
5.3 went onto the laptop easily and after doing some research, I applied
the guidance for getting multimedia working and got the nvidia driver
loaded. That works great.

SATA errors on CentOS 5.2
We have a new machine here that we are trying to use for CentOS as a
base for our primary application. Although I do not have direct
access to the physical machine, I have begun looking into it remotely
(via ssh) to see why we are getting the following errors periodically:

timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }

Disk operations very slow on Lenovo Thinkcentre
Hi,
I'm currently trying to install CentOS 5.5 on a series of Lenovo
Thinkcentre nettops. At first, the install CD boots OK without any
options, but when it comes to formatting, the process can only be
described as terribly slow... it took about half an hour to format the
160 GB disk.
A few cups of coffee later, the system boots with the following messages

Very slow disk performance on CentOS 4.5
I recently moved my CentOS 4.5 disk from a Lenovo ThinkCentre M52
(3.2 GHz Pentium 4) to a Lenovo ThinkCentre M55 (3.4 GHz Core 2
Duo). I had to install the SMP kernel, but other than that
everything just worked. I did have an issue with accidentally
initializing my /boot partition, but that was my own fault.
But the system was not feeling right. Some things just seemed to be
slower,

random reboots (nvidia G86M Quadro NVS 140M)
Hi
Do you have an idea why am I getting random reboots and (sometimes) this
stacktrace? :

This should probably go as a bug report, but I have already uninstalled
the driver --- sorry. This is a fresh install of Debian 8.3 (latest
stable) (Jessie). After switching to VESA everything is stable --- the

Xen on lenovo Laptop
Hello,
I''ve been stuggeling a few days now to get Xen (Domain-0) working on my
Lenovo T61 laptop.
After solving some udev and initrd problems i''ve managed to get it booted on
Fedora core 9.
I''ve cloned both trees with hg:
- linux-2.6.18-xen.hg
- xen-3.2-testing.hg
Inside my T61 there''s a network controller. lspci shows:
