[PATCH] Use volume key instead of path to identify volume.
This patch teaches taskomatic to use the volume 'key' instead of the path from libvirt to key the volume off of in the database. This fixes the duplicate iscsi volume bug we were seeing. The issue was that libvirt changed the way they name storage volumes and included a local ID that changed each time it was attached. Note that the first run with this new patch will cause duplicate

[PATCH server] Use qpid for migration and add more debugging to taskomatic.
This patch uses the qpid migration call which requires the latest libvirt-qpid and libvirt. I also add a bunch of debug logging here which is switchable but I've left it on for now so all users will have this in their logs. [PATCH server] Update daemons to use new QMF.
This patch updates dbomatic, taskomatic and host-register to use the new C++ wrapped ruby QMF bindings. It also fixes a couple of bugs along the way including the 0 cpu bug for host-register. This is a compilation of work done by myself and Arjun Roy. Signed-off-by: Ian Main <imain at redhat.com> --- src/db-omatic/db_omatic.rb | 111 ++++++-------

accessing the attributes of a list inside lapply()
Hello R-users, I have the following problem, that I want to solve efficiently: I have a named list, for example: > l <- list(a = 1, b = 3, c = 'asd') > l $a [1] 1 $b [1] 3 $c [1] "asd" I know that I can iterate through it using lapply() function, but I would also like to able to get the list names or some attributes of l in the lapply(). For example if I use

[PATCH server] Make volume finding more robust.
From: Ian Main <imain at management.mains.priv> This patch makes finding of volumes within attached pools more rubust by looking for the filename if it fails to find it by key. Big devices and missing space
Hello, I have a Promise EX 12-port RAID controller in my box, connected to 8 750GB disks. I have set up 2 RAID-5 devices and joined these using LVM. This is working fine. However, there is something that seems wrong.. (4-1) * 750 = 2250, but df reports the LVM volume as a mere 4.0T; /dev/mapper/storage_volume-stor 4.0T 3.6T 507G 88% /storage Shouldn't this be 4.5TB? OCF2 and LVM
Does anybody knows if is there a certified procedure in to backup a RAC DB 10.2.0.3 based on OCFS2 , via split mirror or snaphots technology ? Using Linux LVM and OCFS2, does anybody knows if is possible to dinamically extend an OCFS filesystem, once the underlying LVM Volume has been extended ? Thanks in advance Riccardo Paganini

Many orphaned inodes after resize2fs
Hello, yesterday I experienced following problem with my ext3 filesystem: - I had ext3 filesystem of the size of a few TB with journal. I correctly unmounted it and it was marked clean. - I then ran fsck.etx3 -f on it and it did not find any problem. - After increasing size of its LVM volume by 1.5 TB I resized the filesystem by resize2fs lvm_volume and it finished without problem. - But

[LLVMdev] Using LLVM for a dynamically typed language
Evan, The problem is that I do not know the type of a target function at compile time. If you consider my code example, I don't know the type of 'i' until runtime (in fact, I can't even know a possible range of types 'i' may assume). Thanks, - Slava. Segfault with GridCellChoiceEditor
I have a problem. In my application I have a few Grid objects in a Notebook. The Grid objects are populated via GridTableBase. Certain Grid cells need to have a choice interface (I''m artificially enforcing foreign key constraints). All this works to the point where you try to edit the value for that cell. The choice box renders (i.e. the drop down arrow appears) then the application

Re: Many orphaned inodes after resize2fs
Hi, it seems you got it right! I don't know if you read email I sent you before posting to the mailing list, but I accidentally diagnosed the cause... :) I've noticed that inodes fsck warned me about, at least ones that I checked, all have all four timestamps latest in 2010... The filesystem has maximum 1281998848 inodes, which is timestamp in august 2010. I don't know how it got
