[PATCH] fix storage problem.
Since Ruby::Qmf moves, the .key() method does not work anymore. It forces to use a .get_attr('key') in order to get the good value. [PATCH server] Use qpid for migration and add more debugging to taskomatic.
This patch uses the qpid migration call which requires the latest libvirt-qpid and libvirt. I also add a bunch of debug logging here which is switchable but I've left it on for now so all users will have this in their logs. Big devices and missing space
Hello, I have a Promise EX 12-port RAID controller in my box, connected to 8 750GB disks. I have set up 2 RAID-5 devices and joined these using LVM. This is working fine. However, there is something that seems wrong.. (4-1) * 750 = 2250, but df reports the LVM volume as a mere 4.0T; /dev/mapper/storage_volume-stor 4.0T 3.6T 507G 88% /storage Shouldn't this be 4.5TB? how to add file-based disk space to a guest
hi there, I'm following these documentations to add a file-based disk volume to a KVM guest under Centos 6.0 : http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Virtualization/chap-Virtualization-Storage_Volumes.html as instructed, I created a "pool" then a "volume", file-based, e.g : mkdir /mnt/raid/kvm_pool1 virsh # pool-define-as pool1 dir - - - -

how to recover a accidentally delete brick directory?
hi all, I accidentally removed the brick directory of a volume on one node, the replica for this volume is 2. now the situation is , there is no corresponding glusterfsd process on this node, and 'glusterfs volume status' shows that the brick is offline, like this: Brick 192.168.64.11:/opt/gluster_data/eccp_glance N/A Y 2513 Brick 192.168.64.12:/opt/gluster_data/eccp_glance

OCF2 and LVM
Does anybody knows if is there a certified procedure in to backup a RAC DB 10.2.0.3 based on OCFS2 , via split mirror or snaphots technology ? Using Linux LVM and OCFS2, does anybody knows if is possible to dinamically extend an OCFS filesystem, once the underlying LVM Volume has been extended ? Thanks in advance Riccardo Paganini
