Hello: 1. How can I tell when the development version of Rtools has changed? For the past few years, I've installed the development version of R tools with each new release of R. I encountered problems with this a few days ago, so I rolled back to Rtools212.exe. Unfortunately, I seem to have more problems with that version. My latest install was under Windows 7 Home Edition.

Hi, I run R 2.5.1 on Mac OS 10.4.10 and fail to build a package manual. Below is the transcript. Hi all, I am trying to use \Sexpr{} within \examples{} in the manual, and it all works fine, except that I get an error and then a NOTE from R CMD check when it checks for long lines in the manual. The long line check calls `Rd2txt` with fragment = TRUE, because it only checks the \usage{} and \examples{} sections, but fragment = TRUE does not evaluate \Sexpr{}, and then an unevaluated \Sexpr{}
