Next I installed R by following the the usual instructions on the CRAN site. At this point all is working I am now in the process of installing the packages that I normally have installed. I have compiled ATLAS and I have the following libraries: libatlas.a libf77blas.a libptcblas.a libtstatlas.a libcblas.a liblapack.a libptf77blas.a Is it sufficient to use ' --with-blas=libatlas.a ' when configuring or do I need to specify any of the other libraries as well? -- William D.
