I got the following error: ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <zeileis at ci.tuwien.ac.at> (reason: 550 5.7.1 <zeileis at ci.tuwien.ac.at>... Fw: Contour plot
I understand that I need to have a (in this case) square matrix with all the data. But the question now is; - can the contourplot not interpolate the missing values or alternatively - I have fit a model to the z data (z = 100 + 0.5x + 0.5y). How can I make from this model a "square" matrix z to make a contour plot? Kind regards, Darius Blaszijk ----- Original Message ----- From:

Zoo object problem: Find the column name of a univariate zoo object
Hi everyone and Achim, Achim, I appreciate your help about the function "NCOL". When I use "NCOL" instead of "ncol", I can find out the number of columns (number of time series) in the presence of only one time series (one variable, one column). Now I want to know how I can find out the column names of the zoo objects? In case of more than one time series, the

Newey West and Singular Matrix + library(sandwich)
thank you, achim. I will try chol2inv. sandwich is a very nice package, but let me make some short suggestions. I am not a good econometrician, so I do not know what prewhitening is, and the vignette did not explain it. "?coeftest" did not work after I loaded the library. automatic bandwidth selection can be a good thing, but is not always. as to my own little function, I like the

Precision error in time index of ts objects
Thanks for the very detailed explanation. I did not create the series using structure(), that was the result of dump() on an intermediate object created within tsdisagg::ta(), which is where I found the error in the first place. ta() indeed manipulates .Tsp directly, rather than using ts. I guess this is a bug in tsdisagg then. Thanks! -- Andrea Altomani On Sat, Sep 2, 2017 at 12:31 AM

segmentation fault in integrate (PR#812)
