Using R.dll in .NET IPC
Hi - I wrapped R.dll up using somebody code online (see below). I am comparing R on .NET IPC with R(D)COM.
I got it all working. Except, I realize that in my client code of the IPC remoting, if I call 'plot' function in R via EvaluateNoReturn, I don't seem to see any results on the R plot window (although the window pops up). Is there anything to do with the code of R.dll wrapper

Theora encoder directshow Filter configuration
Hi,
I'am using the Xiph Theora Encoder directshow Filter in a csharp
application. It works fine but I would like to modify the configuration,
like the quality settings. I would like to know if there is a possibility to
configure it programmatically without using the propertyPage dialog.

possible opera+prototype bug in evalscripts?

Unfortunately, I have hit an issue with LLVM's internal representation
that's giving me a bit of a headache.
The problem is that LLVM assumes that a pointer is equivalent to a

Passing arguments to var args function
Hey,
I am working on a new back-end,
in my back end, I require to pass every argument through a register when
calling a function, unless the argument is part of the ellipsis (...) and
then pass it through the stack, I've tried creating a CCCustom function to
analyze the operands when a function has var args, however, the information
whether the out val is fixed or not is not passed into the

[LLVMdev] Backend calling convention: when pointer differs from integer
Hi,
I am developing a backend for an architecture with two diferent sets of
registers.
The ABI specifies that pointer arguments use one kind of registers while
integers use the other one.
As LLVM translates pointers to the specified type (i32 in my case), I
cannot specify the correct calling convention.
I've seen that developing the TriCore backend the same issue appeared.

Passing arguments to var args function
Hey Tim, thanks for the quick answer,
this looks exactly like what I was trying to achieve, I was hoping there
was something more clean,
I was wondering how the community would accept a change in the TD,
if the code at CallinvConvLower.cpp:138 would've passed the IsFixed flag to
the AssignFn then all those workarounds wouldn't be needed,
this example is only one of a few I can think of for
