how to unsubscribe
Hello,
I need to unsubcribe this email to the R help mailing list because I need to
create an email only for this mailing list. My email account doesn't have
that much space anymore and I don't have access to this every day.
How can I do that?
Thanks a lot

I have a data frame with several factors and I want to count the occurrences
of an event resulting from an interaction of some factors.
I tried to do several tables (and then converting to d.f and then merge them
by one factor and the freq
Tab1 <- merge (BPorAmost,BPorSector,by=c('Sample','Freq'))
Tab1 <- merge (Tab1,BPorDist,by=c('Sample','Freq'))

Yo me he apuntado y me parece bien tanto la idea de reunirse, como la de comentar a través de la lista.

ggplot - Setting the y-scale in a bar plot
Dear All (probably Hadley),
I am now trying to customise some plots using a bar geom.
I do not want to use the default binning statistic, but rather
calculate the bar heigths separately. I do manage this, but for
comparison purposes I would like to have a set of plots all with the
same y-axis height. But I do not seem to find out how to fix the
scale of the y-axis in this case.
Any tips?

In fact this is a Stats question, but...
Dear All,
I'me having (much) trouble understanding why it happened and answering
a referee's comment to part of a submitted manuscript. I've tried to
google for help but... I'm really confident that although this is a
R-Help list someone can help me!
I used R to do an ANCOVA w/ RNA/DNA as the dep var, sl as the indep

As indicated, the package is installed but without CHM help files. I
have downloaded the latest version of Rtools and I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling HTML Help Workshop. I have also tried

building packages: hhc.exe not found using xp
Hello,
Apologies in advance if this should be in R-devel, not Rhelp. I did read through the R-devel thread started by Gabor Grothendieck in September of this year - I am getting the exact same error using a new computer that has XP installed, not vista, complaining that the file hhc.exe is not found. I have downloaded the hhc.exe to HTML Help Workshop dir in Program Files but it says that

Help w/ density() usage
Dear All,
(this msg is a statistics/computing question to the list)
I'm trying to implement a modern-version of a (classic) "several-step protocol" in Fishery Biology (due to Bhattacharya, 1967): analysis of length-frequency distribution of fish larvae to id cohorts and later estimate growh rates!
I've trouble with the 1st step: using kernel density estimation (KDE) function

Building latest version of package
Hi
I have a package which was built using R 1.9.1 and everything worked
fine. I recently upgraded to R 2.0.1 and tried to re-install my package
- and I got:
Error in library(mypackage) : 'mypackage' is not a valid package --
installed < 2.0.0?
So I tried rebuilding it using my new version of R:
R CMD BUILD --binary mypackage

problem building R packages in windows xp
Dear R users,
I am having problems building R packages in Windows xp. I have followed the
instructions from Peter E. Rossi in Documentation -> Other, except for the
TeX version (fpTeX), since when I go to the recommended webpage, it is said
that fpTeX has been discontinued. I have MikTeX in my computer, and I have

Installing packages from source on WindowsXP
Hi,
I'm having some problems installing packages from the source files on
Windows, using R CMD INSTALL pkg. I'm running WindowsXP, and I've
followed the instructions as per the README.packages file from the R
installation. I ran into a hitch, with the install failing following a
"hhc: not found" warning. I figured out that this was related to the
html help workshop.
