strucchange Nyblom-Hansen Test?
I want to apply Nyblom-Hansen test with the strucchange package, but I don't know how is the correct way and what is the difference between the following two approaches (leeding to different results): data("longley") # 1. Approach: sctest(Employed ~ Year + GNP.deflator + GNP + Armed.Forces, data = longley, type = "Nyblom-Hansen") #results in: # Score-based CUSUM

troubles with R CMD check and examples under Ubuntu gutsy
Dear listers, I was used to package pgirmess under Windows with everything OK, but, for the first time, I had a trial this afternoon on Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy (I have a double boot computer and work more and more under unix) and R 2.7.0. Everything went OK except this: sudo R CMD check pgirmess ..... * checking examples ... ERROR Running examples in 'pgirmess-Ex.R' failed. The error most

ivreg and structural change
Hello, I am looking for some help with this question: how could I test structural breaks in a instrumental variables´s model? For example, I was trying to do something with my model with three time series. tax_ivreg <- ivreg(l_y ~ l_x2 + l_x1+ dl_y | lag(l_x2, -1)+lag(l_x2, -2)+ lag(l_x1, -1)+lag(l_x1, -2)+lag(l_y, -1)+lag(l_y, -2), data=tax1) summary(tax_ivreg) ## after estimating it,

Strange error in R CMD check --timings
This SO post: https://stackoverflow.com/q/76583828 describes a strange R CMD check error. Depending on the contents of a comment in one of the examples sections of a help page, an error like this could be triggered: > base::assign(".dptime", (proc.time() - get(".ptime", pos = "CheckExEnv")), pos = "CheckExEnv") >

make check fails tools-Ex in 2.5.0
Hi folks, I'm attempting to compile and install 2.5.0, and "make check" is failing one of the earlier sanity tests. I'll append the relevant portion of the Rout.fail file below, but I've narrowed it down manually to a single command: > sessionInfo() R version 2.5.0 (2007-04-23) x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu locale:

R CMD check: "T used instead of TRUE"
Hello everybody, I am just trying to put together my first own CRAN-able package. I have completed the programming and my code works OK. But now when I perform R CMD check agsemisc_1.0-2.tar.gz and R gets to the step * checking examples ... I receive the following error message: > print(bwplot(Species~Sepal.Length, data=iris, panel=panel.bwstrip)) Error in rep(T, length(x)) : T used

Chow test(1960)/Structural change test
Hi,   A question on something which normally should be easy !   I perform a linear regression using lm function:   > reg1 <- lm (a b+c+d, data = database1)   Then I try to perform the Chow (1960) test (structural change test) on my regression. I know the breakpoint date. I try the following code like it is described in the “Examples” section of the “strucchange” package :   > sctest(reg1,

testing an ARFIMA model for structural breaks with unknown breakpoint
Dear R users, I'm trying to use the "strucchange" package to determine structural breaks in an ARFIMA model. Unfortunately I'm not so familiar with this topic (and worse, I'm a beginner in R), so I don't know exactly how to specify my model so that the "Fstats","sctest" and "breakpoint" functions to recognize it and to calculate the

'breackpoints' (package 'strucchange'): 2 blocking error messages when using for multiple regression model testing
Good morning to all, I am encountering a blocking issue when using the function 'breackpoints' from package 'strucchange'. *Context:* I use a data frame, 248 observations of 5 variables, no NA. I compute a linear model, as y~x1+...+x4 x4 is a dummy variable (0 or 1). I want to check this model for structural changes. *Process & issues:* *First, I used function Fstats.* It

timings for examples in R CMD check
I'm having a very hard time making R CMD check produce a clean check on examples because of the timings inserted into examples by R CMD check. I am getting a difference on every example output caused by timing information being inserted by 'R CMD check'. The current 'Writing R Extensions' manual[1] states on p. 14: If directory tests has a subdirectory Examples

.Fortran interface error
Hi all, I'm preparing a package which uses .Fortran to interface a Fortran 95 function. This F95 function simply receives the name of a file from R, opens this file and forwards its content to a F95 module, which, in turn, makes the real computation. The F95 module is a pre-existing one and I'm trying to use it in its actual state. Thus, data transfer between R and this F95 module is

Better cleanup of example session during check
I have a couple of packages (?fiery? and ?reqres') that uses a mock of a rook request for their examples. The mock is an R6 object containing a rawConnection, along with a finalizer that closes this connection when the object is removed. So far so good. I?ve recently been getting CRAN errors due to the rawConnection not being closed in examples > cleanEx() Error: connections left open:
