Newbie Trying To Get Ghost Recon To Install
Hello, I'm new to using WINE (and to these lists), so I apologize if this has been asked and answered already: Has anyone been able to get Ghost Recon to at least install? The autorun program came up just fine, but when I click the button to install, it promptly quits. I tried running the setup.exe program directly, and it gets as far as trying to setup and install shield wizard, and then

best method to format output of frequency table
I have some security alert log data that I'm parsing and doing some stats on. One of the fields is the "Classtype" which is the enumerated value of the type of alert found. classtypes = factor( alerts$Classtype ) fclass_types = table( classtypes ) fclass_types gives me a frequency table of the intrusion types: fclass_types classtypes

Install R-patched_2006-07-13 on i386-pc-solaris2.10 with Sun Studio 11
Dear R-developers: I'm trying to build a 64-bit R-patched_2006-07-24 on SunFire V40z with on Solaris OS 10 64-bit kernel and using Sun Studio 11 compilers. Everything runs OK until it gets to building package tools (all.R) where it fails. Bellow is how I tried it (I can provide any other additional info if needed). Any help please? Thank you very much Latchezar Dimitrov Wake Forest Univ.

Regarding Pubkey Enumeration
HD Moore from MetaSploit has noted that, given a pubkey (and not the corresponding private key, as might be found in authorized_keys), he can determine if he'd be able to log into an account. It's a small thing, but he's using it for very interesting recon/deanonymization. He'll be releasing a paper shortly, not overplaying the characteristic, but certainly showing it can be used

vglm(), t values and p values
Hi All, I'm fitting an proportional odds model using vglm() from VGAM. My response variable is the severity of diseases, going from 0 to 5 (the severity is actually an ordered factor). The independent variables are: 1 genetic marker, time of medical observation, age, sex. What I *need* is a p-value for the genetic marker. Because I have ~1.5 million markers I'd rather not faffing

Combat Flight Simulator 2
I know this is a pretty old game, but I feel like the problem is universal. Graphics settings for the game don't detect any graphics drivers other than a HAL display device. This is weird, as I've had other games like Ghost Recon work flawlessly with my card, which is an Intel GMA X3100 / GM965. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

[LLVMdev] Introducing a new built-in type to tblgen.
Hi all, my name is Elior Malul, and Intel employee, and it is the first time I'm writing to the llvm-dev community. The purpose of that mail is a 'recon-mission' on a small tblgen feature I think might prove itself useful. I would like to add a built-in types 'pair'. Pair is a compound type with two template argument: pair<ty1, ty2>; The idea is to add a literal for that

Starcraft Install Problem
I know this is an old problem. When googling around I found that many have had this problem. But I can't seem to find an answer to it, or it's outdated. So what's going on. When I try to install Starcraft I get a message box with the error: No program start menu found. I installed the newest version of wine I could find: wine20041201 athlon package. I use Fedora Core 2, not totally
