Using Rserve
Hey is there a more consistent way of connecting to Rserve. I have code that opens a connection to Rserve by executing explicitly using Java runtime ( "C:\Program Files\R\r20XXX\Rserve.exe" ). However when i run the app and attempt to connect, it does not connect imediately.I have to close the app and open it again for a few times before i get a connection. Am i doing something wrong?

Fetching Warning Messages
Hi, I am facing one problem of fetching R warning messages in Java Code using Rserve. It is easier to trap R Error messages by using catching RSrvException. I came to know one way of fetching R Warning messages, i.e. using "withCallingHandlers", below is my Java Program, which uses withCallingHandlers of R : import org.rosuda.JRclient.*;

Re: Calling R functions from Java (D0c)
Hello kanglin: Try to transfer from Java Object JList to R Object Data.frame, you could use public Rconnection r_connection = null; ..... ..... this.r_connection.assign("dataframe_ex",java list_ex); Best regards, Ricky Chen EIM ProMOS Technologies Inc. Where has the stats-rosuda-devel mailing list gone?
I require some assistance with JGR, but following the mailing list link from http://jgr.markushelbig.org/FAQ.html leads me to http://mailman.rz.uni-augsburg.de/mailman/listinfo/stats-rosuda-devel which responds with No such list stats-rosuda-devel I was previously subscribed to this mailing list and want to resubscribe, but where has it gone? Seeking clarification about indirect critical edges
That makes way more sense, thank you so much! >From your description it sounds like you were assuming that “D1”, rather > than “D0B”, is the original block “D”. My experience using -DLLVM_BUILD_INSTRUMENTED_COVERAGE to generate coverage
With llc, the size of the names section can vary widely depending on the value of -DLLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD. Enabling coverage shouldn't increase the name section size much. I only see one place where this happens, and it's relatively cold: http://lab.llvm.org:8080/coverage/coverage-reports/llvm/coverage/Users/buildslave/jenkins/sharedspace/clang-stage2-coverage-R at

How to update JGR
I recently updated R on Linus/SuSE 11.1 I complained because no on-line help was available from JGR after R update. I was told to update JGR as well. How can I do that ? I installed JGR on SuSE three times in the past with different R versions.Every time it's been a nightmare. I am afraid to have to spend a whole day, maybe longer, to update JGR ... I would greatly appreciate some clear

My experience using -DLLVM_BUILD_INSTRUMENTED_COVERAGE to generate coverage
I had an old build of llc with FE instrumentation, the name section size is about 5MB. Using coverage is likely to cause the name section to be larger as there are more references to dead/unused function names. What do you see when readelf --string-dump=__llvm_prf_names llc David On Tue, Jun 27, 2017 at 2:23 PM, Xinliang David Li <davidxl at google.com> wrote: > > > On Tue,

extracat , JGR, iWidgets install problems
[Environment: Win XP, R 2.10.1] I'm trying to install the packages JGR and iWidgets required by the extracat package to make the interactive plots in the package work. I've tried various things, but nothing seems to work. Here is my most recent attempt, followed by my sessionInfo(). Does anyone have any suggestions how to make this work? > > library(extracat) Loading

colour highlighting inputs and outputs in the R terminal?
Dear all Is it possible to get basic colour highlighting for inputs and outputs in the R terminal? I am looking for something similar to what GUIs provide, such as JGR and (I think) the Windows R GUI: colouring all inputs in red, and all outputs in blue. All this in a colour-aware console (in my case, on Linux). I've been looking into xterm256 and highlight, but I am sofar unable to do with

Seeking clarification about indirect critical edges
Hello all! (I apologize if I've ended up in the wrong list!) I'm trying to get a better understanding of LLVM's critical edge splitting, as documented in `Transforms/Utils/BasicBlockUtils.h`; specifically in the case of critical edges which are indirect transfer. The code comments discuss the following example: a CFG with direct edges A->D, B->D, and an indirect critical edge

productivity tools in R?
