Firewire drive support in CentOS 3.3?
I just recently downloaded and installed the CentOS 3.3 release, and
I'm having a bit of a problem...
It appears that no support for firewire drives has been included. I
am unable to find the ohci1394 or sbp2 modules anywhere. Are there
other packages which must be installed from the distribution to get
firewire devices to be recognized?
Thanks.

CAS signalling conflicts with Clear channel
Hi,
My asterisk server was working with a 4-FXO analog
card (TDM400P).
I recently added two digital cards: a TE120P (1 PRI)
and a B410P (4 BRI).
The B410P is still unconfigured but inserted in a PCI
slot.
The TE120P's jumper is set to E1 as it will connect to
a commercial PBX's PRI card also configured as E1.
My analog channels used to be 1-4 but since I added
the new cards I changed

iozone remove_suid oops...
Having done a current checkout, creating a new FS and running iozone
[1] on it results in an oops [2]. remove_suid is called, accessing
offset 14 of a NULL pointer.
Let me know if you''d like me to test any fix, do further debugging or
get more information.
Thanks,
Daniel

kernel BUG at /usr/src/ocfs2-1.2.1/fs/ocfs2/file.c:494!
Hi,
First of all, I'm new to ocfs2 and drbd.
I set up two identical servers (Athlon64, 1GB RAM, GB-Ethernet) with Debian Etch, compiled my own kernel (2.6.16.20),
then compiled the drbd-modules and ocfs (modules and tools) from source.
The process of getting everything up and running was very easy.
I have one big 140GB partition that is synced with drbd (in c-mode) and has an ocfs2

Having stability problems with Linux-2.6.34.7-0.5-xen
Hello,
I am using Xen 4.0.0_21091_06-0.1 on OpenSuse 11.3 64 bit, with a
Windows XP Pro SP3 32 bit guest, and my workstation keeping locking up,
even the NumLock and CapsLock keys being unresponsive when it does.
Where should I begin troubleshooting?
Thanks,
Todd

Slow disk access on Dell Latitute with ATA/ATAPI-5 T13 1321D
Hi...
I have a Dell Latitute with an ATA/ATAPI-5 T13 1321D and it would seem
that my disk access is extremely slow. I have the latest updated kernel
from RedHat 8.0 kernel 2.4.18-27.8.0. Somehow I think it is related to
the UDMA stuff (shows my level of understanding). I have run hdparm and
although I think I should at least udma level 5, I have at most udma2
listed. Is this a kernel

BUG while writing to USB btrfs filesystem
While untar''ing an image to an sd card via a reader, I got the
following bug. The system also has a btrfs root, and a whole swath of
processes went into uninterruptable sleep. I was able to poke around
via ssh and sysrq, and already had netconsole set up to capture the
bug.
Root fs is on /dev/sdi1, and /dev/sdj2 is the card reader which was
the target of the untar.

dom0 crash while booting from AOE devices
Hello,
I have encountered a crash in dom0 kernel while booting a domU from an AOE
device. I haven''t seen such crashes when booting from local partitions/ LVM
volumes/ loopback file systems. Also I haven''t seen such crash when I did
repetitive I/O to these AOE devices. As the call trace of crash indicates
the crash is in xenolinux kernel. Also this crash is predictably
