feature: RequiredAuthentications
Hi, probably an ignorant question, maybe I'm missing something ... Is there a way for a sshd server to be able to enforce both client host key authentication as well as user authentication, say for roving user-administered laptops. So a sysadmin can restrict access to allow only client hosts which can pass the HostbasedAuthentication tests, whatever the current IP name/address, but still

No y-axis label using png on linux
Dear all, I am grateful if anyone provides a solution to my problem of no y-axis label using png on linux. If I use postscript device or X11 device, it is fine. On Windows, it works with png. I have tried different versions of R and none of them works. (Newbie) help cannot find chrome
Following the beginning tutorial, I typed help.start() and was given a choice of browsers. I picked chrome but got back that chrome is not found. I cannot seem to change or get rid of it now. I looked at /etc/R/Renviron but don't see anywhere to set browser (R_BROWSER = ${R_BROWSER ...etc) - nothing about chrome. I tried starting as "R_BROWSER= R" - same thing. How do I change the

Hi, FYI, Red Hat released an advisory today about a vulnerability in Ruby. So far it doesn't appear in the VuXML, but am I correct in presuming it will soon? https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2006-0604.html http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2006-3694 cheers, -- Joel Hatton -- Infrastructure Manager | Hotline: +61 7 3365 4417 AusCERT - Australia's national

Changing default browser in options()
I usually startup R from within several directories (usually where the programs or data of interest are). I like to use a small web browser called dillo to browse help files. However, by default R looks for mozilla, so I have to type every single R session: > options(browser='dillo') Is there anyway I can change this globally? thanks, J.

Seperate Incoming calls on TDM02?
I have a TDM02B to bring in two POTS lines for my incoming calls; I need to point each line to a different IVR... is there somewhere that can I can look to get this setup working? Basically, each line is for a different business. I know that for a DID the routing is simple but I'm not seeing where I can match up a DID with a Zap channel. I'm currently looking into the zapata.conf file

Trouble building R 3.5.0 under Ubuntu 18.04
I would love to hear from anyone who has successfully built 3.5.0 under Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver). My attempts have failed, including: export LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -fPIC" export CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS -fPIC" export CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -fPIC" ./configure --enable-R-shlib --prefix=/usr/lib/R/3.5.0 #### Configure completes normally without errors or warnings make #### make

samba 3 and ADS
Hi list. I'm trying to set up samba 3 on Solaris 8, AIX 4.3 and 5, HP-UX11.0 and 11i to authenticate mount requests from Win2k clients against their Active Directory credentials. In other words, users sitting at a win2k workstation want to be able to log on once, to the domain using their AD credentials and be able to mount the unix servers without having to re-authenticate. Is this

Always forward an extension?
Here's something I haven't been able to discover as of yet - I need to set up a "direct link" from my Asterisk box to an external line... basically I need to be able to pick up an internal extension and have it call a local phone number. This is call forwarding, I know - the question that I have is how do I set it up so that the extension always forwards. There will never be a

recompile sshd with OPIE?
Hi, I'm having trouble getting an answer to the following problem on -questions - I hope someone here has done something similar and can help. I'd like to compile support for FreeBSD OPIE into sshd. Asterisk@Home connecting through firewall/router
I ditched the idea of using Asterisk straight through my router, there was too much to set up in too little time for me. I've found a spare machine and installed Asterisk@Home on it. Things run smoothly except for connecting to my IAX provider; It doesn't even look like packets are going out at all. Here's my config: ANY Cable ------> Firewall/Router

Selecting outgoing trunk based on extension number
Hi all, I have situation in that we are renting out a room in our office building to another company, including the provision of phone lines via our Aterisk box. To keep billing simple, we would like them to be billed separately for all their calls. We think we can achieve this by them leasing their own outbound IAX trunk (which our providers have said is no problem) and having all their

Where did my DID's go??
Okay, first a little background - I've been with Packet8 since a month after they started. I found that we were outgrowing their services and decided to move to an asterisk box in the office. I found a service provider that offered me a reasonable rate. After a fair ammount of testing I decided to stick with their services and port my 3 primary DID's from Packet8 to the new service.
