[PATCH node] validify ipv4/ipv6 static/dhcp choice else loop
If you select an option that's not listed during ipv4/ipv6 setup it will accept it without verification. This corrects that behavior and forces a valid option to be picked. --- scripts/ovirt-config-networking | 106 +++++++++++++++++++++------------------ 1 files changed, 58 insertions(+), 48 deletions(-) diff --git a/scripts/ovirt-config-networking b/scripts/ovirt-config-networking index

linebreak in mathematical anotation?
Hi I am using mathematical anotation to make the labels in a barplot in italics. as an example (adapted from http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/R/Rhelp02a/archive/129808.html): tt <- c("italic(First~~set)", "italic(Second~~set)", "italic(third~~set") barplot(1:3, names.arg=parse(text=tt)) But I would like to have it with "set" in a second column, like tt

Issue with child process exits
I recently started building a simulator using honeyd as an IP emulator and experienced an issue with hangs on exit from ssh and sftp sessions. A quick look at the OpenSSH source code revealed the following: In serverloop.c there is a signal handler defined for SIGCHLD as follows: static void sigchld_handler(int sig) { int save_errno = errno; debug("Received SIGCHLD.");

sshd hangs
using openssh-3.8.1p1 from sunfreeware.com on a SunOS XXX 5.8 Generic_117000-03 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240. sshd seems to ignore or miss SIGCLD. this is a rare behaviour we observe about once per week in a ssh intensive environment. the process hangs here: truss: 24453: poll(0xFFBEEF28, 2, -1) (sleeping...) gcore, mdb: libc.so.1`_poll+4(b, 0, 0, ffbeef38, 6fc40,

AW: sshd hangs
hello applied the patch described below - unfortunately we still experience rare hangs of the remote sshd. not surprising as the patch only changes a few lines in server_loop() - but not in server_loop2() which i used for non-interactive sessions. process id of hanging sshd: 26110 process is sleeping forever in poll (why does server_loop2() sleep forever?): root at XXX:~# truss -fp 26110 26110:

[PATCH] Static IPv4 addresses entered are validated when they're entered.
If the address is not blank then it is validated. Only those that are properly formed are accepted. Otherwise an error message is displayed and the user is prompted again. Patch for ini plugin
Hi, recently I took a look at ini to find a bug which made it crash at startup. While fixing the bug I realized I could do some improvements to the option reading code (espacally the action part). So I went on and here we are. This patch should make ini more robust, clean it up and fix also some more crashes I had here. Additionaly, I have a attached a second patch from Maniac which should fix

bug with var(rep(1e30, 3)) (PR#1228)
There seems to be a bug with var() when the argument is a vector with exactly three values of 1e30 (or close to this value). This does not happen with twice, four (or more) times this value, or another value. > var(rep(1e30, 3)) [1] 2.971056e+28 > var(rep(1.2e30, 3)) [1] 2.971056e+28 > var(rep(0.9e30, 3)) [1] 2.971056e+28 > var(rep(0.8e30, 3)) [1] 0 > var(rep(1e29, 3)) [1] 0 >

Computing means, variances and sums
There has been a recent thread on R-help on this, which resurrected concepts from bug reports PR#1228 and PR#6743. Since the discussion has included a lot of erroneous 'information' based on misunderstandings of floating-point computations, this is an attempt to set the record straight and explain the solutions adopted. The problem was that var(rep(0.02, 10)) was observed to be (on

smooth non cumulative baseline hazard in Cox model
Hi everyone. There's been several threads on baseline hazard in Cox model but I think they were all on cumulative baseline hazard, for instance http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/01a/0464.html http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/01a/0436.html "basehaz" in package survival seems to do a cumulative hazard. extract from the basehaz function: sfit <- survfit(fit) H
