Schedule for R 1.9.0
The process leading up to the release of 1.9.0 is detailed below. Package maintainers may want to take notice of important dates and make sure that their packages still work with the alpha/beta releases or work on making a 1.9.x comaptible version. As usual, everybody is encouraged to try out the preliminary releases and report back so that we can get the last wrinkles ironed out before release.

Wireframe, custom x-axis values
Hi, Im plotting some data with wireframe() like so: wireframe(result ~ u * r, myData, scales=list(arrows=FALSE)) However, I would really like to display something different for the displayed values of "u" rather than the actual values. This is because my u-values are a sequence of quantiles of myData, and I would like to display the quantiles used (e.g. "0.8 0.85 0.9

Textures Twiddling/Swizzling
Thanks for the last info it was truely helpful. Anyways, I'm currently trying to implement 3D textures into yuzu, as far as I know they are twiddled in a different manner to 2D textures. Could one of you guys point me in the right direction? I've been meddling around: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/tree/src/gallium/drivers/nouveau/nv50/nv50_tex.c but I can't see where the

1.7.0 scheduled for April 16
We have now (actually a few days ago) declared a "Grand Feature Freeze" on the development sourcs, meaning that we might still add functionality and fix bugs, but we will not do any further major changes. It should be noted that there has been a couple of quite big changes compared to the 1.6.x series, notably namespaces and the methods package. Also, many more packages are now loaded

Problem with "merge" command duplicating values
Hello, I am attempting to merge 8 different data sets into a "grand merge" data set; all their variable names are common except for the the gas measured. However, when I did a quick stat summary comparison of merged data with unmerged data, it turned out that R mysteriously duplicated thousands of values in the merged set and I have no idea why. I've not had this problem with merge

lattice: showing panels for factor levels with no values
How to show panels for factor levels of conditioning variables which do have no values? E.g. there are panels for "Grand Rapids" when they have values: data( barley ) with( barley, dotplot(variety ~ yield | year * site, layout=c(6,2) ) ) There are no panels for "Grand Rapids" when there are no values for "Grand Rapids": my.barley <- subset( barley, ! Re: Links 2003 & Grand Prix 4
Update: Grand Prix 4 plays almost flawlessly with Catalyst 10.6 and WINE 1.2rc3.. HOWEVER, over the past few releases of WINE (audio work), I've noticed that partly through the playback of Grand Prix 4, the audio suddenly stops. Prior to 1.2rc3, Grand Prix 4 used to crash shortly thereafter. However, since WINE 1.2rc3, after the audio stops, Grand Prix 4 continues without crashing ... just

Problem applying Chi-square in R and Cochran's Recommendations
Sir, I have a problem here while applying chisquare test to the following Data ( below the subject of this mail) ...when I wanted to test the significance using three different free statistical packages, here R, EpiInfo and OpenEpi. *Only OpenEpi accepts the test based on Cochran's Recommendations. * R says " chi squared approximation may be incorrect." Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Actually, nevermind....I found an easier way. This guide is simply going to be the "quick" way to prove the UPS works, and doing it securely will be an exercise left to the user. As long as I put that in bold letters at the top of the guide, then I don't have a problem just using "-u root" everywhere. Rob > -----Original Message----- > From: Rob Groner > Sent:

[LLVMdev] Windows question: Dozens of linker warnings and errors
Thanks for the quick reply. I had a feeling that it was due to missing Windows support in clang++ and LLVM. """ This is due to clang not understanding force_inline. These functions are defined in a header included from Windows.h, so it ends up getting a definition everywhere it is included. """ How much work would it take to add support for force_inline? Are there
