mod_perl and httpd2
I've got httpd and mod_perl installed, but I seem to have an
application that requires part of mod_perl that doesn't seem
to be properly installed into perl, notably, the 'Apache' portion.
To 'fix' this, cpan would like to install either mod_perl-1.29,
or alternatively to install mod_perl-2.0.2. 1.29 doesn't seem
smart, and 2.0.2 absolutely will not install over the

recompiled mod_perl insists on old perl dependency
Hello,
In order to overcome a known performance bug in perl-5.8.8-10 in
centos 5 (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=196836) I
downloaded the perl package from fedora 8
(http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/fedora/linux/releases/8/Fedora/source/SRPMS/perl-5.8.8-30.fc8.src.rpm)
and mod_perl

rebuilding mod_perl
If I say 'yum install mod_perl', on my CentOS-3 system, I get one built to
work with the system's stock perl 5.8.0. I have built perl 5.8.7 and
installed it in /usr/local/perl-5.8.7. How can I get the src rpm for
mod_perl and build it against the newer perl?

Any switchers from mod_perl
Good afternoon,
I have been developing in mod_perl for many years, and my livelihood is based on
being productive with it. I''ve spent the past week reading and testing RoR and

hoping to hear from other mod_perl switchers.
One of the main reasons I like mod_perl is code flexibility. I like being able
to insert
