R documentation -- buffer overflow? (PR#3400)
Hi, I have attached a larger Rd file that causes an error when compiled by R CMD Rdconv -t txt xswms2d.Rd (for example). If the size is reduced the error vanishes, see the lines 230 and 527 in the file. I could not find an error within my text and so my guess is that there is some buffer overflow within the compiler. (OT) OpenOffice.org calc chart strangeness.
I am attempting to create a simple line chart graphing three columns from a soffice-calc spreadsheet. I expect it to take the leftmost column as the X-Axis, plotting the others on the Y-Axis, but it always creates an X-Axis of the row number in the columns, and the first column amongst the data. I have tried this on OpenOffice.org 3.2.0, NeoOffice(R) 3.0.2 Patch 2, iWork Pages, and Excel 12.2.4

size limit in R?
Hi, Please see the email exchanges below. I am having trouble generating output that is large enough for our needs, specifically when using the GaussRF function. However, when I wrote Dr. Schlather (the author of the GaussRF function), he indicated that there is also a limit imposed by R itself. Is this something that we can overcome? Listing of LAPACK error codes
Professor Ripley commented on LAPACK error codes: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2007-March/127702.html and says "Internal LAPACK errors are usually problems with arithmetic accuracy, and as such are compiler- and CPU-specific." use "integrate" for functions defined in C, not R
Dear all, I am trying to use the C code for "integrate" function ( that calls Rdqagi and Rdqags) so that I can integrate a function defined in C, instead of passing from R.
