Problem with tuned Rblas from CRAN with R-2.4.0

fxp multicast forwarding problems
Hi, Whilst doing some QA work on XORP on my desktop, which has fxp0 and msk0, fxp0 got totally hosed. I was running PIM-SM and IGMPv2 router-mode on the box at the time. I wonder if this is related to the problems with fxp multicast transmission I saw back in April. I'm a bit concerned about this as fxp is still a very widespread and useful network chip. I am running

plotting questions
I'm having some issues with using chron() objects for the x-axis in plots. ######### plot(chron(c("07/01/01","08/01/02")),c(100,200),cex.axis=5) ######### It doesn't seem to scale up the cex of the x-axis. Is there any way to scale these x-axis labels up? Also, I'm not sure but I don't believe I have even seen this behavior. #############

Running R on a 64 bit processor

centos 4 installed on P4 won't boot on P3
Hi, I installed centos 4 on a P4, configured it (and it booted fine here) then sent it to the DC to be put in a P3 but it won't boot, displays GRUB and halts. The DC guys tried grub-install in rescue mode but still the same. Any clues? Is there some difference between P3 and P4? thanks tom

cex in Windows vs. Linux
I go back and forth from Linux to Windoze often and have to run the same r-scripts. I was wondering why it seems like the default plotting size of labels, symbols, titles, etc seem smaller in Linux than in Windows. Is there a quick way to remedy this so I don't have to manually change the cex settings from 1 to 1.3 every time I go from Windoze to Linux? -- Sincerely,
