gta3
Hello, Again, I wasn't able to install gta3 on the way I should have installed it (using InstallShield). I've rebooted to windows, installed it, configured it and got back to linux again. Grand Theft Auto 3 needs DirectX8.1 which I did not have, so I've downloaded it and installed it under wine. That one worked ok, but I have the following: [gotdrunk@mbjr gta3]# wine --winver

[LLVMdev] Error building compiler-rt
Hi, I am trying to build llvm along with clang and compiler-rt. When I run make, I am getting the following compilation error (I tried compiling llvm-3.2, which is what I need for my project, but also tried llvm-3.3 and the current llvm source from the git repository). ... [LLVMdev] Error building compiler-rt
Dear Alexey, Yes I am sure that the llvm, clang and compiler-rt are synced to the same version. I downloaded them all from git http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#git-mirror I think I need compiler-rt for my project but I'll verify it again to see if I can proceed without it. You are correct that compiler-rt is compiled with the just built clang. The complete command that gives an error

You can disable -Werror by adding the cmake flag -DLLVM_ENABLE_WERROR=OFF, which should let it just ignore that (that's also the default, so you must have turned it on somewhere) On Jul 31, 2013, at 13:09 , Pranav Garg <pranav.garg2107 at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > I am trying to build llvm along with clang and compiler-rt. [LLVMdev] Error building compiler-rt
Hi, I see that ENABLE_WERROR is being set to off (the default value) in the config.log in the llvm build. However on grepping for WERROR in the compiler-rt folder I get the following output: pranav at pranav:~/smack-project/llvm-3.4/src/projects/compiler-rt$ grep -Rin WERROR * lib/asan/tests/CMakeLists.txt:38: -Werror lib/asan/asan_malloc_mac.cc:253:// This function is currently unused, and we

yes I think that is correct. I wrote a simple program to print if sizeof(uintptr_t) != sizeof(unsigned char *) and when I compile with gcc -m64 and execute it on a 64-bit host (that is different from the 32-bit laptop on which I originally compiled the program), it says the sizes are not equal. Thanks Pranav On Thu, Aug 1, 2013 at 9:29 AM, Alexey Samsonov <samsonov at google.com> wrote:

Missing features, RLY?!? & readme1st again
Missing features from memory from following this mailinglist: - Win7 join to AD still requires two registry changes. - SYSVOL is not replicated, use a cronjob with rsync. - Domain-Trust works only in one direction (which one?). - winbind does not work on DCs, use a separate file server. - Joining an AD requires one of its DCs in the same subnet? - Cluster filesystems destroy TDB files, use CTDB. -

[PATCH] rework master-to-worker signaling to use a pipe
Signaling using normal kill(2) is preserved, but the master now prefers to signal workers using a pipe rather than kill(2). Non-graceful signals (:TERM/:KILL) are still sent using kill(2), as they ask for immediate shutdown. This change is necessary to avoid triggering the ubf (unblocking function) for rb_thread_call_without_gvl (and similar) functions extensions. Most notably, this fixes

Printing samba, cups and legacy 16 bit applications
hello everybody, I have come to a dead end. I have successfully configured cups and samba to print from windows with automated drivers download. It works perfectly, but for one little problem, most of the printing here in my company are reports printed by the ERP software, which has been developed by ouserlves some 12 years ago in (oohh sucks) Visual basic 3. The problem is: Every single

Printing from wine problem - loosing my hair
I have a Ubuntu 9.04 minimalist setup runing on a XEN vps. I only installed a few things like Wine, NX, cups (and cups-pdf), XFCE4. Works like a charm in every way except printing from Wine. I can print from native Linux apps to PDF but I get an error in Notepad and any other wine running app for that matter, StartPage failed. There are no errors in the /var/log/error_log or any mention of the

Adding to wxRuby (Now I fired up)
Nick, Curt, Kevin, Now that I have dabbled ever so slightly in adding to wxRuby on a source level (and it wasn''t perfect, Nick had to fix some of my code!), I feel all fired up. Any areas specific that need to be added that I could test my luck with again, or can I just go pick and choose? This gets funner every day... (yes, i constitute "funner" as a word), Zach

[cups] /var/spool/samba or /var/spool/cups/tmp
Hello Family, (smd.conf file attached) Having had great success with 2.2.2 and my Linux box and Windows-2000 machines I switched to CUPS and now can't print again having made some slight edits in my smb.conf file (attached) for the change to CUPS. [1] I have to reloaded all the Windows drivers again on the Windows-2000 machines and still get the "Startdoc..." error. [2] The
