SashWindows
Hi Please find attached a set of patches to implement Sash Layouts plus a little sample. These are resizable panes that can be used to create an IDE-like application, with sidebars etc. They''re quite a lot more powerful than SplitterWindow, for example you can split an MDI client window, and you can have lots of them. Not quite as nice as wxAUI (Advanced User Interface) - a project

swigwin
Anyone on the list have some pointers for getting swig working properly on Windows? Anytime I reswig a file it breaks wx.cpp. I''m sure I''ve got a setup problem but I haven''t been able to put my finger on it yet. Roy

Fixed events returning correct object
I have successfully patched the files to return the correct objects from events (and other places where we request back objects and have been getting the wrong thing). In doing so, I found a buglet in the wxSashWindow.rbw file. Here is a patch for that. _______________________________________________ wxruby-users mailing list wxruby-users@rubyforge.org

ShapedWindow.rbw
These patches implement wxRegion and the ShapedWindow sample. I stole the ruby image from ruby-lang.org. Shamelessly. Maybe someone has a better image we can use for the shaped window. It didn''t seem to make sense to use the Python image. I''d like something even bigger than what I stol^h^h^h^hmade, preferably. Image goes in icons. I had to %ignore one function in wxRegion.

0.0.37 release?
I would like to tag and release 0.0.37 soon. I''m thinking of the next few days. We have good new stuff (Printing, Scintilla on OS X, other new classes) and have fixed some bugs. Also, would be good to put the early build probs with the last release behind us. Here''s the patches I think are outstanding: - Wx::App cleanup - rake HTML docs publishing - Scintilla OS X -

Scintilla
wxScintilla already comes with a SWIG friendly header file. I modified the rakewx and the Scintilla.i file to include it directly from the wxScintilla install. This means it''s an odd-ball compared to our other classes. Does anyone see a problem with this? I think it''s best to use the one supplied with the installation to avoid problems of the header file getting out of

sash position problem
Hi, I''ve written a small app implementing SplitterWindow and have a problem with specifying the sash position on Windows. At the moment, I call split_vertically and pass it a positive integer for position. This works as expected on FreeBSD and Linux (Ubuntu and Debian), but seems to have no effect on Windows. Is there something particular I need to be doing to get this to work on

Reswigged link error
After reswigging I get link problems: Functions.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _mWxruby2 Mac.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _mWxruby2 Events.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _mWxruby2 ... Which is intriguing since it seems to be defined in wx.cpp

Update ash-port to NetBSD-1.6.1
Hi all, this patch updates the ash-port of klibc to that one found in NetBSD-1.6.1 instead of the horribly old one currently used. It's a bit longish (appearently there has been some work done between 1993 and today), but now it's even useable on 64-bit systems :-). Plus I've added some nice-to-have builtins, e.g. printf. ruby\samples\FXRuby\splitter.rbw
I am running the above sample and there are 3 panels (and, thus, two, uh, sliders). The left hand slider behaves the way I want. That is, when I move it left or right, the right hand slider does not move. The right hand slider does not do that. When I move it ... it moves the left hand slider. How do I make the right hand slider behave like the left hand slider? - - - - On a slightly
