sizer support for colspan > 1?
I see that GridBagSizer is not yet supported by wxRuby. Is there an
alternative to specifying that a widget spans more than one column? I
don''t see a way to do that in FlexGridSizer.

Patch to fix ArtProvider and ArtProvider sample
These patches better implement ArtProvider and add the demo for it. I
also expanded the bigdemo window a little bit. I really think we should
go larger but I suppose there might be some people at 800x600 still.
Note that creating your own art provider still doesn''t quite work
correctly. I didn''t have time to get into that.

Here is a small patch to apply the above RubyConstants.i, it makes it
so all the samples run.
Run the patch in the same directory as the RubyConstants.i

Rake and VC++ 6
Has anybody tried the new wxruby-swig from the msvc++ command line
compiler using ''rake''? The rakefile seems to depend on the wx_config
method, which doesn''t exist for msw because it doesn''t have BASH to
execute the shell script. Has anyone hacked the rakefile to fix this?

ListItem patches

Attached, patches to implement ListItem. This class, in wxruby 0.6.0, allows styling of individual items in a ListCtrl, via a particularly clunky API. In disambiguating the overloaded ListCtrl#set_item method it introduces one non backwards-compatible change. See the attached patch to typedefs.i. I added the enums included from
CalendarCtrl.i. The calendar sample won''t work correctly without this
patch but I''m wondering if there''s a better way, such as moving the
declarations into RubyConstants.i instead.

Building wxruby-swig for Mac

WxRuby newbie Mac OS 10.4 install questions
Hi. Forgive me if I am asking questions that have already been
answered a million times,
but there doesn''t seem to be an easy way to search the wxruby-users
archives, so...

enum arguments not recognized
Ok, I''ve found a minor problem that I was able to fix, but I''m not
sure if this is the right way to handle it, being new to swig and all.
Basically, in wxDC.h, there''s a function declaration:

RubyConstants.i patch
This patch fixes the problem with the undefined constants. Apologies to
Alex as I didn''t apply his patches yet. The fix is to just removed the
_C from the end of the ones that won''t compile anymore.

SWIG exceptions
I was trying to fix the problem with wxImage and the char */unsigned
char * thing today and I was going to hand-write the functions to
translate between the two. While doing so I decided I''d clean up the
