dovecot segfaults after upgrade
Using dovecot on debian oldstable (squeeze) with daily builded repository,
after an upgrade this morning, dovecot always shows the following error:

Problem with virtual folders
Hi,
I'm trying to activate some virtual folders on a new installed dovecot server.
My plan is to have two virtual folders like "All" and perhaps "Unseen", like Gmail style for the first step.
- All: lists me all messages in the users mailbox
- Unseen: all unseen messages in the users mailbox
I'm using dovecot EE Release:

Dovecot mailstore performance tuning
HI All,
We have a couple of dovecot director proxies and six backed mailstores
each accessing mailboxes stored on five NFSv4 filsystems with about
1TB of mail on each in maildir format.? We have about 800 max users
on each mailstore at peak times and performance appears to starting to
degrade at these times.? The mailstores are pretty recent hardware
with 64GB of RAM and 24 cores.?? The NFS

Lazy_expunge issue...
Hello everybody,
I have a question about lazy_expunge plugin.
I set up Dovecot with lazy_expunge plugin on a Debian Wheezy machine; I
setup also a global acl to keep .expunged namespace readonly for all
users. Imap client is Horde Webmail Edition 5.2.3
When I try to delete folders containing subfolders, lazy_expunge copies
into expunged private namespace only the upper level folder. The
subfolder

Sieve scripts not replicated
Hi,
FWIW this was also reported back in August[1] - experienced with 2.3.2.1
(not sure if earlier 2.3 releases were affected) and currently
reproducible with latest 2.3.3 stable release.

sdbox filesystem backup potential excludes
When doing a filesystem backup of an moderate sdbox mailstore (300GB) -
are there any files that can be safely excluded from the backup?? Like
*.log or *.backup?? Or are they all "vital" for recovery?
I'm already excluding the sdbox/virtual folders as it looks like they
get created and updated as needed.

Hello,
I use dovecot replication and the sieve scripts are not replicated. Mail

Deleting messages from filesystem with sdbox mail format
Dear list,
I recently had to delete some messages from an sdbox mailbox, for which
I used the canonical "doveadm expunge" command without issues.
However I got curious and, on a test mailbox, I deleted an unimportant
message directly from the filesystem (rm u.650). After removing the
file, the webmail continued to show it in the mail list - but no text
was retrieved when I selected

Multiple use of the same LDAP attribute
Hi,
we've found a weird bug (?) in Dovecot 1.1.11.
Since day and age we've been running dovecot for our student mailserver,
getting the location of the mailbox from a LDAP directory. We allow
login and LDA with both full mail address and an internal username,
so the mailbox directory is based on a LDAP attribute

dsync replication errors
Hi
I'm trying to build a cluster of two servers with dsync replication
(based on http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication). My test setup works
fine for very simple tests, I can log in to both servers, copy a
message to one of the servers and it successfully apperars in the other
account. But, if I try to copy a large amount of messages at once to
one of the accounts, my maillogs get flodded with
