6.3 missing updates and packages
Hi, The fact that apparently the last tigervnc update from upstream was missed triggered me to check for missing updates and packages in 6.3. Here are my results. Sorry for any false positives that might have crept in, but note that some of the 6_x updates actually are updates and not a parsing error. And perhaps an occasional false positive due to having to compare upstream SRPMS vs downstream

[Fwd: Re: Compiling dovecot on SuSE 9]
Thank you very much for the rpm.... it works great on SuSE 9. I still don't understand how you compiled it to work!!! Thanks again Ted hi, On 2003-11-26 17:44:43 +0200, Timo Sirainen wrote: > Doesn't the error message get written to log file as well? If not, I'll have to fix it. timo it wasnt in earlier versions. but for 0.99.10.4 it reports the missing ssl cert to the stderr

dovecot-sasl license
hi, i talked to timo about re-licensing the sasl part of dovecot under a more liberal license (bsd/lgpl e.g.). it would allow the integration of it in bsd base systems. another reason i would be interested is adding sasl support to svnserve [1]. so here is my question: what is your oppinion about this issue? any objections from contributors? darix [1] http://subversion.tigris.org/ -- irssi

PageUp/Down in gnome-terminal
Dear all, I am using gnome-terminal to run R, and I noticed that standard PageUp/Down do not work but they do work for other programs within the same terminal window (e.g. irssi). Scroll bar does not work either. I run R using GNU-screen, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. DCC transfers don't work, but IRC works
Hi! Already searched for it and asked in IRC channel but all replies talk about ip_conntrack_irc and ip_nat_irc. I have a rule in 'NEW' section of 'shorewall/rules' to irc: ACCEPT fw net tcp 6667 #IRC and 'lsmod|grep irc' shows: ip_nat_irc 3648 0 ip_nat 22572 8 [...] ip_conntrack_irc

dead links and request for home page
Hi Akemi, Thanks for the home page. I made the two corrections mentioned earlier and then one for the road (changed "irsii" to "irssi"). Didn't catch it the first time around, since I thought it was a new fork or similar. I couldn't find it with google though, so I deduced it to be a typo. All went smoothly. RE: imap segv trying to list inbox
(This is releveant information to the one that Alex Moore just posted, but I'm not subscribed yet so I can't properly reply to that thread. Sorry for creating a new one.) I've got a crash in dovecot-imap when trying to list the inbox on a nonexistant directory. I'm not sure how it should be handled, but basically it's only happening when the directory in imap's MAIL

Hi, Tinc currently allows keys of > 4096 bit during creation. But when running with those no connection can be setup. Either there should be a limit set (or a warning at least) during generation or tincd should not have that limit. imho, of course. Folkert van Heusden -- Afraid of irssi? Scared of bitchx?
