I am trying to develop a Java application with libvirt 0.5.1. I am trying this on Windows7 64bit. I downladed libvirt-0.5.1.jar and jna.jar files and added them to the Buildpath. Then I installed VirtViewer for windows 64 bit and copied dll files.
In my application if i only use System.setProperty("jna.library.path", PATH_TO_DLL); then i see "UnsatisfiedLinkError: Unable to

Java client error on Windows 7 64 bit for Libvirt on KVM
Hi,
I need some help in building a Java client on Windows 7 64 bit plaftorm to manage a KVM using the libvirt APIs. Using the instructions at http://libvirt.org/java.html, i was able to build libvirt.jar. My understanding is that libvirt.jar uses JNA to call libvirt's native windows library. I tried using the libvirt dlls in the experimental Windows installation package mentioned in

What can it be?

Hello all,
I`m a computer science student from Frankfurt/main (germany).

and R) and we have a problem with R and JRI.
We are working on 10 computers with Windows XP SP2, R 2.8.0, jdk1.6.0_11

libFLAC JNA Issue
Hello,
I hope this is the right place for this kind of question.
As developper, i'm actually writing java interface to use libFLAC with
JNA, to reproduce "flac -t" function, needed to validate/unvalidate flac
files before sending them in our preservation system.
.
Everything is working fine between java and libFLAC.so. Callback are
called, C API is smart with void* client_data

JRuby and callbacks?
Hi all,
Any Java/JRuby folks on the list? I''d like to see if we can implement
api.c for JRuby using JNA and see how it handles the callbacks.
I''m not a Java guy, nor do I know JNA, but I''ll take a stab at it if no
one else on the list does.
Here are a couple of useful links:

JRuby version of win32-api - initial try
Hi all,
I''ve got a preliminary JRuby version of win32-api checked into CVS at
the moment under win32-api/lib/win32/api.rb. I''ve also pasted it below.
It doesn''t quite work right in that I can''t get it to modify the
arguments in place in the API#call method. Take a look at the sample
code at the very bottom to see what I mean.
I haven''t even tried

Xapian-devel Digest, Vol 90, Issue 1
Hi, all guys:
I invented a new ranking algorithm inspired by the theory of spread
activation and probabilistic model, which can find the latent semantic
relationship between docs and terms, and I took one afternoon to implement
this idea, which is almost linear time, and the testing result shows that
the speed of this algorithm is much faster than the famous Latent Semantic
Analysis

poor samba performance with many smaller files
Hi,
I did use wireshark to verify that the client (window7) is not the problem,
client is sending out multiple "SMB2 Create request" packets before he gets
some answer.
On the server side samba is processing this requests in a synchronous way,
in order which they were send, that is what I see from strace output.

[LLVMdev] VMKit assertion failure
OK, I know why you get that UnsatisfiedLinkError. You have made symlinks of
GNU Classpath libraries with the .so suffix. Since you're on MacOS, you
should do symlinks with the .dylib suffix (I notice that I'm not saying that
on the webpage, I'll fix that right now).
I'm not sure what to do about that core__init function. I will try to create
a bigger stack to see if that changes
