CentOS 7.3, SPF+ 10GBit network
Hello,
our server uses 1 GBit Nic and 10 GBit SPF+ NIC.
When both nics are configured ONBOOT=yes, then both nics are OK.
Wen 1GBit nic is ONBOOT=no, netwerk does not come up.
Missing driver? What else?

help with winbind and groups
Hello,
I have winbind working well out of the box. However, I am having
problems with using groups to restrict ssh access to the box. I have
a feeling there are some tricks that I haven't thought of yet.
Here is the relevant parts of smb.conf:
workgroup = FOO
password server = server.foo.local
realm = FOO.LOCAL
security = ads
idmap uid = 10000-20000
idmap gid =

NFS Hanging Under Heavy Load
Hello all,
I'm currently experiencing an issue with an NFS server I've built (a Dell
R710 with a Dell PERC H800/LSI 2108 and four external disk trays). It's a
backup target for Solaris 10, CentOS 5.5 and CentOS 6.2 servers that mount
it's data volume via NFS. It has two 10gig NICs set up in a layer2+3 bond
for one network, and two more 10gig NICs set up in the same way in another

Re: Sr-iov passthrough - no packet arrive to guest
I can see from different post that if working with sr-iov, i should work
with vlan
Is this an obligation to work with vlan if working with sr-iov?
If not according to which parameter will the different vf get the
traffic.
Let's say i declare max_vfs=7, how will the traffic be seperated between
the vm?
However till i get an answer i tried to work with vlan
And i still don't get

[PATCH 1/2] Fix ixgbe RSS operation
The addition of VMDq support to ixgbe completely broke normal RSS
receive operation. Since RSS is the default operating mode, the
driver would cause a kernel panic as soon as the interface was opened.
This patch fixes the problem by correctly checking the VMDQ_ENABLED
flag before attempting any VMDQ-specific call.

Memory problem on a linux cluster using a large data set
Hello,
I have a large data set 320.000 rows and 1000 columns. All the data has the values 0,1,2.
I wrote a script to remove all the rows with more than 46 missing values. This works perfect on a smaller dataset. But the problem arises when I try to run it on the larger data set I get an error “cannot allocate vector size 1240 kb”. I’ve searched through previous posts and found out that it might

Memory problem on a linux cluster using a large data set [Broadcast]
Thank you all for your help!
So with all your suggestions we will try to run it on a computer with a 64 bits proccesor. But i've been told that the new R versions all work on a 32bits processor. I read in other posts that only the old R versions were capable of larger data sets and were running under 64 bit proccesors. I also read that they are adapting the new R version for 64 bits

Imputing data
So I have a very big matrix of about 900 by 400 and there are a couple of NA
in the list. I have used the following functions to impute the missing data
data(pc)
pc.na<-pc
pc.roughfix <- na.roughfix(pc.na)
pc.narf <- randomForest(pc.na, na.action=na.roughfix)
yet it does not replace the NA in the list. Presently I want to replace the
NA with maybe the mean of the rows or columns or
