pom for 0.5.1
H,
I am using libvirt from maven using a nexus proxy pointing to http://www.libvirt.org/maven2/
It downloads the jar fine but is expecting libvirt-0.5.1.pom (and ...sha1). In the proxy only the jar appears. When I download and rename the pom to my local .m2 cache my build works fine. Is this a bug in the distribution of libvirt in its maven repo or is my dependency wrong somehow?
Kind regards,

hope you can do something with this information,

Minimum requirements for CentOS 4,5,6
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to compile a document to send out to our customers that outlines
the minimum and recommended requirements to run C4, C5, and C6.
Does anyone know the particulars? When we order systems, it's usually
Pentium Dual Core CPU, 120GB+ Hard drive, 2GB Ram.
I need the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM requirements to install and run any of the
aforementioned flavors as a

firefox problems
Just wondering if anyone might be seeing any similar frequent crashes of Firefox/GNOME/Nautilus lately. I have a couple of users who have reported a problem like this. Any ideas are welcome. Latest CentOS 5.5 w/patches, latest nVidia graphics driver, firefox from repos.

xulrunner-devel dependencies
What's the deal with all of the new dependencies for xulrunner-devel in
the last update? I'm updating my servers and the update for
xulrunner-devel is forcing me to install 43 new packages! Is this a
packaging problem, or are all of those packages really needed?
For the moment, I've been removing xulrunner-devel from my machines to
avoid the problem. I figure since it is a

Firefox error msg.
After my / disk seemed to be failing and found many files disappeared, I
decided to remove it. I moved my other disk to it's place. Long story
omitted.
After installing my backup of /home and seeing firefox not restart, I
started it from the command line with the immediate error:
Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.0.5 and 1.9.0.5.
I'm sorry, I'm at a complete loss.

fix firefox?
I once had firefox x86_64 installed (because it was the default).
But that one has problems with plugins (flash, java), which are
much easily solved by using the i386 version.
So I unstalled firefox, and installed it again using:
yum install firefox.i386
This worked, and even the plugins worked fine afterwards.
I did have some problems when uninstalling, because yum insisted

xulrunner-devel package missing many header files
Hi,
I've just installed xulrunner-devel from yum, but there are following
header files cannot be found in xulrunner-sdk-1.9/sdk/include:
mozilla-config.h
mozilla-config32.h
prtypes.h
The include/xulrunner-sdk-1.9 constains those above header files, I
did link to them, but xulrunner-sdk-1.9/system_wrappers/prtypes.h has
a problem as well:
#pragma GCC system_header
#pragma GCC visibility

gecko-libs dependency resurfaces
In doing an update of centos 5.2 this morning, I observed that the old
gecko-libs dependency issue caused yum update to fail because it was
required by nspluginwrapper (x64_86), devhelp, yelm and firefox. Also, a
firefox (x64_86) showed the red hat splash screen rather than centos.
Manual installation of affected rpms using --nodeps (I don't advise this) did
not apear to impair the

Installing an *older* version of xulrunner (eg as a compatibility package)?
Is there a way of installing xulrunner-1.9 along side xulrunner-10.0? I
have an application that wants the older version of xulrunner and does
not seem to work with xulrunner-10.0.

xulrunner 1.9.0.19-1: Does it exist or what?
According to 'yum info xulrunner' version 1.9.0.19, release 1.el5_5
exists and is an available package. But when I try to update it, yum
claims there is nothing to do and when I try a general update, yum
complains that it cannot update firefox because it cannot find xulrunner
>= 1.9.0.19-1. What is going on here?
I am doing this on a desktop x86_64 system that I recently brought up

Building REDHAT Desktop Virtualization Solution With Centos
Redhat offers a desktop virtualization solution using "kvm, qemu, libvirt and spice" which is directed at centralized server hosting virtual desktops and thin clients connecting to it.
All the relevant software are open source. So it should be possible to achieve the same feat with CentOS. Anyone know any complete tutorial regarding this?
I've found separate tutorials regarding

exclude in a repo file
Hi All,
I just discovered that the remi repo has updated versions
of firefox. This is good news, but it leads me to a
question.
Is it possible to exclude all packages except one or two
in a repo file? The man page for yum.conf didn't give me
any hints. I tried unsuccessfully adding this line:
exclude=!firefox*,!xulrunner*
Is there a way to set up this repo so that when I run

xulrunner 1.9.2.26 available in repackaged form for use with legacy programs
I have re-packaged xulrunner 1.9.2.26 for CentOS 5 for use with older
applications which can't be run with xulrunner 10.0.4. I created
'compatibity' RPMs that can be safely installed alongside xulrunner
10.0.4. I needed it to run the Evergreen 2.1 and 2.2 Staff Clients at
our local library. The RPMs are available in the Deepwoods Software
repo at the URL:
