Getting 'Data stale' error with bcmxcp_usb for a PowerWare 5115 on OSX
Good evening,
I tried getting this to work a couple years back but didn't have
enough time to do all the debugging that was needed (apologies
to the devs who tried to help at that time). It's working much
better now, but I'm still not able to get an answer from upsc.
Can anyone help me work out why I'm getting the error when
querying with upsc:

Power ware 5110 "not the right sequence received"
Hi All,
I have a powerware UPS 5110 connected to an openindiana server with the
bcmxcp_usb driver and running nut 2.65 compiled and installed as root to
avoid permission issues.
On running the following debug code to test the UPS's communication it
fails at the same time with the following error.
./bcmxcp_usb -u root -DDD -a 5110

Eaton PW5110 + nut-2.4.1 + OpenBSD
Hello,
I 'm trying to set up an Eaton PW5110 using nut-2.4.1 in OpenBSD, my
ups.conf follows :

driver = bcmxcp_usb
port = auto
desc = "Eaton PW 5110 (1500VA)"
My first attempt to run upsdrvctl ended up complaining about unimplemented
usb_clear_halt() in libusb. I patched libusb-0.1.12 with the following

BCMXCP UPS driver 0.24 (2.6.1) Hangs
List:
I have an Eaton (Powerware) Model 5115 and am using the bcmxcp_usb driver
on a OpenBSD 4.9 system. The upsdrvctl start appears to work and I get a
message in my daemon log stating that it successfully started. I can
successfully start the upsd daemon. I get a successful start messaage from
the upsmon program, but it soon complains of 'stale' data. It looks like

bcmxcp_usb offers no runtime or serial # with a Powerware 5110/700va
Hi everyone,
First of all a big thank you for the NUT package, I've been using it for
years and couldn't get by without it!
I have two Powerware UPS's here, a 9120/1500va and a 5110/700va. The 9120
has used a hacked bcmxcp driver (serial) from the 2.0.2 nut version for
about a year now (which I'll explain more about in a seperate email to the
dev list), and the 5110 which I just

bcmxcp_usb driver with PW5110
Hi,
I have got a Powerware 5110 UPS which has a usb interface on it. I have
downloaded and compiled nut-2.0.3-pre2 with the usb drivers enabled on
RedHat Enterprise V3 however I have been unable to get nut to connect to the
UPS. I have tried executing the driver directly (using bcmxcp_usb -DD -u
root /proc/bus/usb/002/002) as well as using upsdrvctl with the port set to
auto (am I correct in

SSL configuration
Hello subscribers,
I have a very strange question regarding SSL setup on gluster storage.
I have create a common CA and sign certificate for my gluster nodes, placed host certificate, key and common CA certificate into /etc/ssl/,
create a file called secure-access into /var/lib/glusterd/
Then, I start glusterd on all nodes, system work fine, I see with peer status all of my nodes.
No problem.

The boolean variables seem to be indicated by "Yes". I

Powerware (Eaton) Prestige 9 UPS
I noted some correspondence from several years back about supporting
this device with bcmxcp, and the problems therein. Since I have one of
these UPS units, still going strong, and the Eaton LanSafe stuff has
finally caused me enough grief to abandon it, I figured I'd take a look
at this.
The issue is not that bad - the bcmxcp driver query of the topology
block (2 bytes!) is returning

Eaton Powerware 5110 - some stats not reported
The meter map is basically a bitmap that indicates what variables are output (and in what format) by the UPS. You will likely see a variable, 'not mapped' or nothing. The variables and 'not mapped' items are output by the UPS in the measurement block, and the map tells nut how to read it. 'Unmapped' means that there is a variable there that nut is ignoring, and the xcp

Printer download - NOT WORKING
Hi,
I played around with samba 2.2.5 and cups and tried
to get it working. Well everything is fine, but the driver upload to the
client WILL NOT WORK.
I used the current stable downloads, latest patch for printing, prebuilds
from Lars Mueller ....
I put together everything.
If one has a working samba//cups please tar it
and place it on our ftp-server.
I don't know what's wrong here
