Bug#659642: is this still the case in Wheezy?
Hi Adrian,
Are you able to test with the 4.1 hypervisor and 3.2 kernel from Wheezy?
I suspect this is a kernel side thing and I have a feeling it got fixed
at some point.
Thanks,
Ian.

Bug#658263: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64: Different network traffic values from dom0 vs domU
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-4
Severity: normal
Xen Networking[1] works by creating a new pair of virtual ethernet
interfaces (vifN.M in dom0 and ethM in domU with id N) and connecting
then by an internal "crossover ethernet cable".
My understanding of the "internal crossover" thing is that networking
statistics should be the same no matter if you measure

Bug#711420: Xen not booting over Wheezy
Control: tag -1 +moreinfo
Hi Marco,
Thanks for your report. Unfortunately the logs you've provided are from
a system booted without Xen, and due to the nature of the bug it is
unlikely that any relevant logs made it onto the disk in order to
survive the resulting reboot.
Please could you try setting up a serial console and collect the full
boot log.

Actually tried both kernels. 3.13 on Jessie and 3.2 on Wheezy.
The keyboard failed on any xen 4.3 boot.
If it was nonxen, or xen 4.1 on any kernel the keyboard worked normal.
Thanks for your help troubleshooting.

Bug#681376: Xen hypervisor package not upgraded on dist-upgrade Squeeze to Wheezy
Package: src:xen
Severity: important
Version: 4.1.3~rc1+hg-20120614.a9c0a89c08f2-2
I recently upgrade from Squeeze to Wheezy on a system which had the
xen-linux-system-686-pae metapackage (one of two which Provides:
xen-linux-system). After dist-upgrade I had the new xen-utils-common and
xenstore-utils (and a few others) but not the xen-utils-4.1 or
xen-hypervisor-4.1-i386 or xen-hypervisor-amd64

Bug#679533: Looks like the upgrade from Squeeze to Wheezy fixes this issue
After turning off hibernation this issue did not occur anymore in
Squeeze. Now we've turned on hibernation again, ran the test to
reproduce this issue and this issue occurred within 10 minutes on
Squeeze with Hibernation on.
Then we've upgraded our test environment from Squeeze to Wheezy and ran
the test to reproduce this issue again on Wheezy with hibernation turned
on. This test

Was that with the Jessie or Wheezy dom0 kernel?

Bug#708344: xen: serial passthrough broken in Debian Wheezy
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.2.41-2
Severity: important
Hello,
I just discovered a strange bug with serial passthrough in xen 4.1 on
Debian Wheezy. The Dom0 has a GSM modem connected to serial port. The
serial port is passed through to a DomU with options 'irq = [ 4 ]' and
'ioports = [ '3f8-3ff ]'.
This worked as expected on Debian Squeeze with Xen 4.0 and Linux kernel

[HowTo] Installing Samba and sssd on Debian Wheezy (with manual backport)
Hi everyone,
A couple of weeks ago I wanted to install Samba and sssd on a Debian
Wheezy server. The Samba version from the wheezy-backports repo looks
and feels fairly well packaged by now and is updated to the upstream
version, so in my opinion that's the way to go. As regards sssd, I
wanted a version supporting the AD backend (the one in the Wheezy
repos doesn't), so I backported it

2.2.x autobuilds: Debian Stable now Wheezy, which pool for 2.2.x?
List, good evening, just installed a new Debian Stable (Wheezy). The
Debian Stable repositories now include Dovecot 2.1.7 as standard. I
haven't installed that because I wanted to try 2.2.x on this new clean
install but unsure which 'pool' to use in the xi.rename-it.nl
repository of autobuilds.

Wheezy became Stable on May 5, just a few days

Upcoming repository for R 3.0 on wheezy
Dear all,
I have done the backport of R 3.0 to wheezy in the usual way and it is on its
way to CRAN.
If you are interested in installing it, be aware that the debianized R
packages availabe in wheezy that are not in the list of packages recompiled
for CRAN will not work with this backport. This is explained in more detail in
the README, which will appear in an updated version together with

One more try at nut, this time on debian 7.8 (wheezy)
Greetings Charles;
I eventually gave up making it work on ubuntu-10.04.4 LTS, and that drive
is slowly curling up its toes, so I am running wheezy on a fresher drive
now.
I have installed all the nut stuffs from the repo, and now have two more
scripts in /etc/init.d called nut-client and nut-server.

root at coyote:/etc/nut# dmesg|grep Belkin
