andersen plot vs score process or scaled Schoenfeld residuals to test for proporti0nal hazards
Dear all,
I use the Andersen plot to check for proportional hazards assumption for a
factor (say x) in the Cox regression model and obtained a straight line that
pass through the origin. However, the formal test done by the R-function
cox.zph, which is based on the plot of Schonefeld residuals against time,
indicates that proportional hazards assumption is violated. Further, a plot
of the score

Synthesize low batt (LB) fron SNMP UPS which does not support this?
Hmm, looking at status_commit(), if the UPS actually reported just ?OB", but the ?ignorelb? logic kicked in, wouldn?t status_commit() change it to ?OB LB?? And would clients interpret that correctly?
And, assuming status_commit() is called, is the status so saved what?s returned on a future client query?
I?m really unsure how all of this works. I don?t suppose there?s some kind of ?general

Synthesize low batt (LB) fron SNMP UPS which does not support this?
Hmm. Is there maybe something there already that will do this? Maybe kind of back-handed.
In drivers/dstate.c, I see:
In status_init(), if ?driver.flag.ignorelb? is set in the driver state, the ?ignorelb? flag is set.
In status_set(), if ignorelb is set, and the status being set (presumably from the UPS) is LB, it?s ignored. In other words, LB reported by the UPS is ignored.
In status_commit(),

dovecot Buch 2014 vs 2016
Moin,

2.6.4 Potential protocol-corrupting bug
Hi all,
I was just wondering if the following bugfix in 2.6.4 was a serious problem that could cause
a problem in a destination file and if it did would that get picked up by the checksum ?
Cheers - Steve
- Fixed a potential protocol-corrupting bug where the generator could
merge a message from the receiver into the middle of a multiplexed

Rsync 2.6.4 released
I have released rsync 2.6.4. This version has quite a few enhancements
over 2.6.3, some optimizations in the delete handling, and the usual
collection of bug fixes.
I'd like to say "thanks" to everyone who downloaded and tested one of
the pre-release versions -- the feedback was very helpful!
A summary of the changes since 2.6.3 is available here:

Problem with Beta Nut 2.6.4-1 For Windows
Hi All,
I'm new to Nut and had been looking for a way of monitoring a small UPS we have just designed. We are using simple contact closure circuit, but
I don't appear to be able to get the Genericups driver to work. I've followed the documentation and have decided to try the APC upstype = 1
If I type 'genericups -x upstype=1 /dev/ttys0' , I get an error: 'Fatal error:

Request to include delete-dir-and-suffix patch in rsync-2.6.4
The delete-dir-and-suffix patch creates two new command line options as
follows:
--delete-dir
--delete-suffix
The delete-dir and delete-suffix options give the ability to store backup of
deleted files on the receiver in different directories or with different
suffix than the backup of files that have been changed but that are still on
the source drive. Both commands can be

Always exitcode 256 under Cygwin with rsync 2.6.4
I've upgraded all my Windows servers with the new released cwRsync version, so
they're all running the latest rsync now. But this version seems to ignore
exitcodes, since my batchscript does not restart the job when a timeout
occurs. Before, rsync did set the errorlevel on exit, so my script knew what
to do then.
When you just give an empty rsync command, it should also exit with an

DNS lookup failures with rsync 2.6.4 on HP UX 11
Hello All,
I have compiled Rsync 2.6.4 on HP UX 11 using gcc 4.0. rsync binary
fails to query DNS for a host name. If I give IP address instead of host
name everything works ok. I tried to run snoop on DNS server by failed
to recieve any packets. This would mean that rsync is not every hitting
DNS server.
I get this error message

Rsync and permissions - rsync version 2.6.4 protocol version 29
What does rsync do with permissions?
Using rsync -auvP ./* targetMachine:/targetDir

The source file has owner/group stevet:dev and the target stevet:users
The files are being rsync'd as user 'fyl' - fyl belongs to both dev and
users group.
The 'oddity' is
