New issue, configuring 2 Vista nodes
Hello All, I am trying to configure 2 Vista nodes. For testing, I put them both on the same LAN & subnet, and after figuring out that Vista puts the RSA_Key private File & the Hosts files in a different directory { \USERS\username\APPDATA\LOCAL\VIRTUALSTORE\PROGRAM FILES\TINC\ (+hosts\) }, I managed to bring up the daemons on both nodes. (I suspect that Windows 7 uses another directory

Weird behaviour between Windows Vista & Windows 7 VPN - can anyone help?
I am trying to connect a Windows Vista (Home) machine to a Windows 7 (Office) machine. I set up the tinc config files normally, and I am able to see the Vista (Home) machine from the Window 7 (Office) machine, but I cannot seem to do the reverse. I am beginning to wonder if this might be a known issue that someone has seen before. My configuration is as follows: Office PC

FW: New issue, configuring 2 Vista nodes behind Norton Internet Security 2010 Firewalls
Finally resolved the problem, I'm actually impressed with the throughput over the tinc VPN! I encountered & resolved two problems during this installation. First, the config files need to go in different places, depending on whether you run tinc as a service or in the foreground from a Command Prompt running as Administrator (C:\Program Files\tinc\...) or if you are running tinc in the

9.3p1 Daemon Rejects Client Connections on armv7l-dey-linux-gnueabihf w/ GCC 10/11/12
I have an NXP i.MX6-based armv7l-dey-linux-gnueabihf system in which I am seeing some as-yet-unaccountable behavior in sshd when compiled with Arm/GCC 10/11/12. That is, when attempting to scp/slogin/ssh to 'root@<host>', where <host> is either a name or IPv4 or IPv6 address, the connection is quickly closed by the server without prompting for a password. The variable I can

Direct connections between nodes are in the same LAN (behind common NAT)
Hi I'm trying to implement a scheme in which the nodes will have a direct UDP tunnel to each other. First, all nodes make connection with one public node, and then make connections with each other. And I came across the following problem: Remotely located nodes can establish a direct UDP connection, but the nodes that are in the same local network can not, and all traffic goes through the

Weird behaviour between Windows Vista & Windows 7 VPN - can anyone help?. Still no success
I am at a loss to explain why it still doesn't work. I regenerated the keys and have eliminated the 'Bogus data received message'. In fact, the debug log looks totally normal now. However, when I try to 'ping' from the Home PC to the Office PC, I get a 'request timed out' message & Windows Networking is still not able to see the PC at the other end. I do see a

[PATCH 05/30] crypto: Use kmemdup rather than duplicating its implementation
kmemdup is introduced to duplicate a region of memory in a neat way. Rather than kmalloc/kzalloc + memset, which the programmer needs to write the size twice (sometimes lead to mistakes), kmemdup improves readability, leads to smaller code and also reduce the chances of mistakes. Suggestion to use kmemdup rather than using kmalloc/kzalloc + memset. Signed-off-by: Fuqian Huang <huangfq.daxian

What's wrong in these configurations?
Hi guys!! I've followed the windows 2000/xp tutorial and not only, but it seems not to work! I've for sure committed some errors... Check public/private RSA keypairs
Hi together, i have a tinc vpn running on several local networks as well as on clients and am writing on a little "zeroconfig" tool to add new (newbie) clients to the net without having to vnc to them for ages. To do this easier, i wanted to have a possibility to check somehow if the public key stored on the server mathes the provate key on the client, or if it needs to be regenerated.

Multiple Integration
Dear all, May I do multiple integration using R? I was looking adapt but it is saying it integrates a scalar function over a multidimensional rectangle. I have integrand of several variable and upper, lower limit too variable. I wanted to see the result using adapt (though it is not for this purpose, I suppose) Func<-function(x){(x[1]*x[2])} adapt(2, lo=c(0,1), up=c(1,x[1]), functn=Func) it

little manipulation on data frame

Example x y z 1 5 3 2 2 3 7 8 3 8 9 5 4 5 4 6 -------------------------- --------------------------- I have to sum entries of each coulmn (seperately) till it be 10. This i have to start for each row. And I want to assign no. of rows needed including that row too(it to be 10 or 10+, the moment it exceeds 10, i

I have been having some problems setting up tinc on 2 masquerading linux slackware boxes. routerA is a NAT router to the internet, for two networks on two interfaces. Routing between two tunnels
Hi! Me and two friends are trying to get a VPN working, but we cant get routing between two tunnels. This is how it looks, all servers (192.168.*.1) are running IP Masquerade to enable the other computers behind them to access the internet. Both elayne and glenn are connecting to melc, and the tunnel between melc and glenn are running TCPOnly because that glenn doesnt have a public IP (it's
