Creating a network bridge with multiple interfaces
Hi,
I have an existing fedora14 system with two interfaces and several
virtual interfaces (as in eth0:0, etc). They are currently configured
to not be controlled by NetworkManager, but just standard network
services.
I've recently started working with libvirtd, so I also have a virbr0
interface as well that has its own network and is masquerading the
networking for the single KVM instance I

Problems setting up bridge
Hi,
I have a fc14 box with two interfaces that I'm having some difficulty
setting up a bridge properly. I have a few kvm guests set up and
running, but I've switched from using NetworkManager to using standard
networking with a bridge. I've modified the ifcfg-eth0 and created
ifcfg-br0 as per the standard documentation, but I think I'm having
routing problems. This is what the

How to make try to catch warnings in logistic glm
Dear list,
>From an earlier post I got the impression that one could promote
warnings from a glm to errors (presumably by putting
options(warn=1)?), then try() would flag them as errors. I?ve spent
half the day trying to do this, but no luck. Do you have an explicit
solution?
My problems is that I am trying to figure out during what conditions
one may find 5 significant parameters in a

TEQL and Subnet problem
I have a network topology shown below, and I am trying to use TEQL. P1,
P2 and P3 are three linux machines, and each has two network cards. P2
and P3 are connected in two ways: (1) directed connection between
P2.eth0 and P3.eth0; (2) connection via P1. P1 acts as the gateway. TEQL
is installed on P2 and P3 to load-balance packet transmission by
round-robin sending packets

browsing subnets over vpnd
Hey :) I have recently set up VPN links between 3 subnets. I can ping back
and forth between all of the computers just fine, and samba works on all but
one subnet. The problem is that I am unable to use the VPN to browse
computers on the office network. I can browse them locally from the office,
and I can browse other subnets from them (ie. at home, etc), but when I get

TEQL and Subnet problem
TEQL and Subnet problem
I have a network topology shown below, and I am trying to use TEQL. My
problem is: When I ping to P3.teql0 from P2 ("[P2]# ping 16.119.144.66"),
the traffic can never go from P2.eth1, and all traffic only goes to
P1.eth0. What P2.eth1 (16.119.144.33) did is broadcasting an ARP asking
for the MAC address of 16.119.144.66, although I have specified the route

KVM VM traffic over host's Tinc VPN
Hello Tinc list!
I'm trying to set up a Tinc VPN between two KVM host machines so that a
VM on one host can communicate with a VM on the other host. While I do
have a good bit of experience with virtualization, I'm not a
particularly savvy network guy, so this is proving to be a pretty big
challenge.
Requirements:
* ALL VM network traffic must be secure.
* VMs on one host must be

Basic configuration problem
Hello,
I have been reading through the documentation and trying to set up a very
small VPN as a test for a larger rollout that I would like to complete in
the future but cannot get this working. The configuration seems like it
should be relatively simple, so I'm most likely missing something basic but
I just cannot see what I'm doing wrong. At the moment I am trying to get
this working
