these orphaned entries using a combination of api calls and .REG/Batch scripts. Conclusion: This is not a TINC or a TAP-Win32 issue. It is a Windows issue. All Network Interfaces/Drivers that are installed under Windows will suffer the same fate when uninstalled. I checked a couple of PC's and they all have orphaned Network Adaptor keys from various interface vendors. Kind regards Graham

TAP unistall issue Windows XP - Update
Hi, To recap, after installing and uninstalling TINC a number of times, TINC eventually wouldn't start. Debug gave a "".. not a usable Windows TAP Device.. File not found" error. After doing some digging, I found a dozen or so duplicate Network Adaptor bindings for the TAP driver in the Windows Registry. These were essentially orphaned entries as there was no corresponding

TAP unistall issue Windows XP
Hello, I've been experimenting with tinc to get to know it and I got to point where the tinc service wouldn't start anymore. Starting with debug options gave me a ".. not a usable Windows TAP Device.. File not found" report. After a lengthy period of digging, I discovered that my registry was littered with connection bindings for all the previous install/uninstall's

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
Hi Graham Regarding the tun lib , see mine. root at OpenWrt:~# /lib/modules/3.3.8/tun.ko And like i mention to Maxim , i have tinc running in a Linux Debian environment with 4 nodes successfully. I am experimenting now in openwrt due to the "light weight" environment. Regards Yazeed Fataar <yazeedfataar at hotmail.com> On Tue, Jan 19, 2016 at 8:27 PM, Yazeed Fataar

vorbiscomment inconsistency
I think that vorbiscomment should really use -c "this=that" to specify tags on the commandline, consistent with oggenc. That displaces the tag source file, so I'd suggest -f, consistent with at least some other programs (although I can only think of tar, right now). I'd also suggest that it use -o for an output filename rather than splattering the second file on the

2 TDM04B In Asterisk at home
I have seen various other problems with the cards not detected, but I seem to suffer a different fate. The system boots and recognizes fine, but when I call in from an external line, all I hear is a horrible static. The system works fine when only 1 card is present. I have already moved the new card to a different pci slot. Any suggestions on what I have done? THanks,

Tinc Clients Disconnecting
Hi, Can you help me explain some behaviour please? I've 2 tinc clients that happen to be on the same network and behind the same NAT gateway. They've been working for ages. Without anything changing, they've stopped. They both died, in sequence while I was actively connected to them and using an SSH session. When I check the logs of another tinc node they connect to I see

Forget about tinc. I won't work until you solve issue with your kernel. tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
Yazeed, your tun.ko for 3.3.8. Which kernel do you use? Show your "uname -a". If it 3.3.8 too, try "modprobe -v tun". What you get? If the module is there but not loaded, why don't you just "insmod" it? I am confused. Sorry, I can't help further. I have told

You can find tinc package in openwrt repo and install it with opkg or luci. I suggest you first run couple of tinc nodes on x86, just to understand how it works. -- brgds Max On Jan 19, 2016 7:17 PM, Yazeed Fataar <yazeedfataar at gmail.com> wrote: Any help please?
