asterisk server - no sound
Thanks Anthony. I did it on the server, according to https://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/port+forwarding However after doing it, when running Asterisk I get the following message sudo asterisk -vvvvvvr No ethernet interface found for seeding global EID. You will have to set it manually. Unable to access the running directory (No such file or directory). Changing to '/' for compatibility.

TEQL and Subnet problem
TEQL and Subnet problem I have a network topology shown below, and I am trying to use TEQL. My problem is: When I ping to P3.teql0 from P2 ("[P2]# ping 16.119.144.66"), the traffic can never go from P2.eth1, and all traffic only goes to P1.eth0. What P2.eth1 (16.119.144.33) did is broadcasting an ARP asking for the MAC address of 16.119.144.66, although I have specified the route to

Grandstream Budgetone 101 channels don't disappear on hangup.
Hi there, I'm having problems with the Grandstream Budgetone 101 on hangup - "show channels"/"show channels concise" output is still showing the call's channels as active. The problem does not exist when I use SJPhone, so I'm assuming it isn't an Asterisk configuration issue. Has anyone seen this, or better, does anyone have a fix? :) Thanks, David. --

Tinc on NixOS
Hi, Does anyone here have experience running Tinc on NixOS? I'm trying to run Tinc on a NixOS machine, using the similar configuration i had for Ubuntu. My home subnet is 192.168.1.0/24 and my work is 10.16.0.0/24. However, unlike ubuntu, when I start tincd on nixos, and try to 'ifconfig $INTERFACE 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.0' in my tinc-up, I loose network access on the box

Problem With Android Configuration
Yes. The problem is lollipop. I tried to install tinc on my brother's device which mount a cyano 10.1( android 4.2.2) and it works. I don't understand which is the problem with lollipop. Is there a firewall that block the packets? vpnc versus Shorewall problem
Hi everybody, I have been using Shorewall for quite a while now but I recently stumbled over a new setup that stopped me cold. I don''t know how to proceed: I have an ordinary GNU/Linux box (2.6.11) connected to a nonpublic network with one interface eth0 which gets an IP through DHCP like 172.17.x.y. Traffic is not routed to the Internet in this subnet. In order to connect to the

Problem With Android Configuration
I switch to lollipop 4 months ago and I never had issue. So for my opinion it is ready for daily use. Before try tinc I had my vpn implemented with openvpn, and it works great on lollipop. I switch to tinc because i prefer a mash vpn topology versus a client/server topology. -- Andrea Squeri Inviato con Sparrow (http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig) Il giorno venerd? 27 marzo 2015, alle ore

I was able to compile all drivers, the light on the card becomes green when I plug T1 link.... but I even can't ping default router IP... there is no data coming back to me, so I am confused completely now. Also I tried both protocols - raw hdlc and cisco hdlc. The

Newbie: Route some traffic through a pptp tunnel
I have a centos 4 i386 machine that works like a router (iptables filter, NAT) with two NIC''s. One NIC is connected to my ISP (100 Mbit FTTH), I get a DHCP assigned public IP that changes "sometimes". Most incoming ports are blocked by my ISP. In order to get a fixed IP and open ports, I have to set up a PPTP tunnel to the ISP. The default gw and the NAT''ing goes to

Pulse Secure/Juniper Networks Network Connect (CentOS 7)
Hi, Is anyone here using the "Network Connect" VPN software from Pulse Secure (which was previously known as Juniper Networks Network Connect)? I've used this successfully in the past to connect to the machines at work from home. That was with CentOS 6, though, on CentOS 7 I can't seem to get it to work. The software actually starts, and it also successfully sets up a

Libreswan IPSec Protected GRE Tunnel & firewall-cmd
I am attempting to setup an IPSec protected GRE tunnel with a Cisco router. I believe the IPSec association is up, however I cannot move traffic over the tunnel. It is not clear how to integrate the tunnel interface (gre1) with firewall-cmd; adding the interface to trusted does not appear to 'stick'. [root at aqueduct ~]# firewall-cmd --add-interface=gre1 --zone=trusted The interface
