Error in clusterApply(): recursive default argument reference
Hi, I want to compute a distribution of the intersection of a graph and 'randomized' graphs induced by the permutations of node labels (to preserve the graph topology). Since I ll have many permutations to perform, I was thinking of using the snow package and in particular "parSapply" to divide the work between my 4 CPUs. But I get the following error message : Error in

Cossacks (All Versions)
I've been watching the appdb, and have been upgrading to each new version of wine ... I've tried running Cossacks through VNC (to get 8 bit colour), and I've tried changing video cards (twice)... all to no avail ... The two Bugs listed for Cossacks are still shown as unconfirmed ... As long as you rename the Video directory, it loads up fine - sound works great, input works

ecdf with lots of ties is inefficient (PR#7292)
Full_Name: Martin Frith Version: R-2.0.0 OS: linux-gnu Submission from: (NULL) (134.160.83.73) I have large vectors containing 100,000 to 20,000,000 numbers. However, they only contain a few hundred *distinct* numbers (e.g. positive integers < 200). When I do ecdf(v), it either runs out of memory, or it succeeds, but when I plot the ecdf with postscript, the output is unnecessarily bloated

Configure Voicemail for Large Systems
Hi there, I have been taking a look on how to configure voicemail systems with asterisk and I would like to know if there's any way to define mailbox in a dynamic way. I have 100 users and I would like to know if there's any way to avoid the definition of the 100 mailboxes in voicemail.conf and use for example the variables that I am getting from extensions.conf. Thanks in advance,

Win2k Client <-> Samba Server
I'm having some difficulties joining a Win2k workstation to a Samba domain. This particular workstation is my work laptop (DRUMMSW01) which normally operates as a member of a standard Win2k domain called BIZ. At windows startup/logon, BIZ is specified as the domain. At home, my Samba PDC's workgroup/domain is HOME.LAN When I try to browse shares on HOME.LAN with the Win2k laptop, I

Backups & Snapshot Support
Are there any plans for a type of "snapshot" support, which could be use to make point in time consistent backups, similar to what lvm would allow you to do for a local volume? I'm really looking for a good way to back up my ocfs2 volume, but so far, all we've been able to use is rsync and custom scripts. Are there any other options? -- Michael S. Moody Sr. Systems

Extremely slow on certain files
I'm trying to rsync a large data set (approx 140K files, 4TB) between machines directly connected on gigabit ethernet. Normally it runs around 20MB/sec, which is acceptable. However, it seems like there is one particular file that is giving rsync heartburn... whenever it encounters this file, the speed drops down to 150KB/sec speed within a few seconds. I don't know what's so

There are no NT/Win2K/XP servers running on any of the sites, all sites are just running win98 pc's using tcp/ip. I have tried configuring all PC's to be on the same workgroup and setup sharing, but still each site can only see the pc's

Where can I find the slirp-helper?
For the libvirt 5.8 release, I find that there is a new comment in qemu.conf: #slirp_helper = "/usr/bin/slirp-helper" It indicates that there is a slirp-helper to help setup slirp network. But I cannot find it even after I built the latest qemu(v4.1.0-1378-g98b2e3c9ab) and libvirt (v5.9.0-rc1-2-g73f91d659b). Could you please tell me where I can find that helper program? Thanks --
