Dev: new option to mark all tincd socket of a tincd process
I know i'm new to the list but i'd like to propose something for tincd daemon. I'd like to mark all sockets established by a tincd process with a mark passed as an argument in the command line. What could be the purpose of this new option? The goal of this option is to be able to have several tincd process running at the same time using the same port but using different ip. In

Kerberos ticket maximum renewable lifetime
We are using tmux, screen and x2go to run long-running jobs on our compute servers. $HOME and other data should be mounted via CIFS or NFS4. Because such a job can run for more than a week, I would like to increase the Kerberos ticket lifetime or better the Kerberos ticket maximum renewable lifetime. I found this guide: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_KDC_Settings Unfortunately, only

ssh-askpass keyboard grab problems
We're developing a security application (http://iscs.sourceforge.net) that uses SSH for out-of-band management. Sometimes we want to use rsa keys and other times we want to use user ids and passwords. We noticed that there was not an OpenSSH API that we could use to pass the user's password and that we could not give it via stdin. We did notice that we could set SSH_ASKPASS and launch

Loadable module
Hi List! I read a post about moving a .mailbixlist to a .subscriptionfile when a user did not have one, but did have a .mailboxlist file. Timo emailed a module for that purpose, so it could be done for this user. My question is: - Where and how does dovecot call this function? - Would it be easy to use a module to a) create a mailpath (can be done as the mailuser's id, I use one uid, and my

Debian packages: icecast2, libshout, ices2
Hello everyone, I've been maintaining Debian packages (for sid) of icecast2, libshout, and ices2 for several months now; my production servers run Debian, and these packages make using icecast on them even more easily manageable. They've been quite solid and reliable in all of the situations I've encountered, and I've had nothing but positive reports from a couple of testers.

To make it possible for another person to translate it, I've set up a couple of extensions that call the following macro for each message on the system. After recording, I can perfectly hear each message using Playback. When I try to play the new recorded message using VoiceMailMain, I can't hear the new message (line goes

busydetect and random hangups
Hi, I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels. If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a user hangup in the middle of a script. On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but long calls tend to be hung up without a motive. Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and recompile?
