keyword TCPOnly in release 1.0pre5
Hi, I've successfully running tinc1.0pre4 between two locations on SuSE Linux 7.1 in a special masquerading Firewall environment, so that I'm using the TCPonly keyword in the host files to get a connection. Otherwise I would get the message 'Received UDP packet on port 655 from unknown source <ipaddress in hex:port>'. After upgrading to 1.0pre5 I'm getting this message

You should not need to have two tinc daemons just because you have a WAN and a LAN interface. By default (ie, if you don't specify BindToAddress and/or BindToInterface), tinc listens on all interfaces,

Using a tinc vpn as a default route
I have been trying to set up one end of a tinc vpn as a default gateway for the other and am not having much success. Given that I have two machines, A and B. I have a working tinc connection between A and B on an internal network. B has access to machines on A's subnet using statements such as Subnet=10.38.9.0/24 Subnet=172.24.100.33/32 A is connected to the internet, B has to go

Direct connections between nodes are in the same LAN (behind common NAT)
Hi I'm trying to implement a scheme in which the nodes will have a direct UDP tunnel to each other. First, all nodes make connection with one public node, and then make connections with each other. And I came across the following problem: Remotely located nodes can establish a direct UDP connection, but the nodes that are in the same local network can not, and all traffic goes through the

linking modules - add needed libraries
Hi Hopefully this is the correct mailing list. Sorry if not. I am still fighting to install "shiny" on Solaris OS. For this I need the package 'httpuv' which makes troubles during linking. R version 3.0.1 (2013-05-16) -- "Good Sport" is working well. The compile steps result is below. I have more a general question. The problem is clear: The symbol

SPSS repeated interaction contrast in R
dear all, i'm trying to reproduce an spss-anova in R. It is an 2x3x3 repeated measures desingn with repeated contrasts. In R i've coded a contrast matrix for all factors and made a split in the aov summary - but I can't get the repeated interaction contrasts. The output from SPSS looks like this: TaskSw * CongNow * CongBefore: SS df Mean Square F Sig. 1 vs. 2 1 vs. 2 1 vs. 2

Strange Traffic Problem
I'm been experiencing a very very odd problem for the past several weeks and am throwing it out in case someone can shed some light on it for me. There is a single box on our tinc mesh which can be pinged from all hosts, but cannot ping any. It is not limited to ping, the box cannot communicate over tinc. tinc is running in router mode for this mesh. ~30 other nodes function normally,

Application Crashes When Calling ov_time_seek() function
I’m running into a problem with my application crashing when I make a call to the ov_time_seek() function. The call includes the OggVorbis_File and it is indeed seekable, as I first check that using the ov_seekable() function. Everytime, however I try to seek forward, the application dies with a core dump. I’m working with the example from the “VorbisFile Documentation” site. The application

Bug report (and workaround): the network freezes when the key expires
Hello Guus, I'm now using your incredible tool since May and it works good for me. But I had to figure out a problem with the network (at the moment only a peer to peer network with one dial up peer), when the key of the connecting host (the dial up peer, not the "server") expires. Reexchanging the keys seems to work (according to the log files) but after that the data flow is

[Fwd: [Fwd: Re: : Win XP Client does not remove directories]]
Hi @all, Can someone please just confirm me, that Samba doesn't remove a directory in case of a "SET_FILE_INFO"-Request for this directory? The following abstract is out of an Ethereal-Log and shows a SET-FILE-INFO-Request for a directory: ############################################################################ No. Time Source Destination

[URGENT] tinc has a security hole of about 50 million km^2
Sending your passphrase encrypted is all fine, but tinc sends the key with which it was encrypted about a second later... Anyone being able to intercept these two requests is authorized on the VPN. CallerID over IAX
We are receiving phone-calls at one Asterisk box, it forwards them to a different location over IAX. Calls are answered on the other end of this connection. However, the callerID seems to be lost in the process. The 1st box shows the original callerID, on the 2nd box callerID shows the callerID of the 1st box. Apparently the 1st Asterisk box replaces the original callerID with its own. Is

Problems with Apple Mail and attachments
Hello, has anyone experiences with the Apple mail client, to be precise : Mail 5.2? When I copy a message with an attachment from the inbox to a different folder using 'move' or 'copy' , Apple Mail does not properly display the attachment in the new folder. When I copy the same message using 'archive' the attachment shows up properly. There is no difference on the
