1.2.3pre2 works great on Solaris 2.7 except man
Right out of the box (after I made Damien's LDFLAGS fix in configure) using gcc-2.95.2. The only problem I have now is the man pages. I still can't read them using Solaris nroff, and when I tried to build with --with-catman=cat, I got the following during a make install: /rtr/bin/install -c -m 644 ssh.[01].out /usr/local/man/cat1/ssh.1 Try `/rtr/bin/install --help' for more

extracting nested variances from lme4 model
I have a model: mod1<-lmer( x ~ (1|rtr)+ trth/(1|cs) , data=dtf) # Here, cs and rtr are crossed random effects. cs 1-5 are of type TRUE, cs 6-10 are of type FALSE, so cs is nested in trth, which is fixed. So for cs I should get a fit for 1-5 and 6-10. This appears to be the case from the random effects: > mean( ranef(mod1)$cs[[1]][1:5] ) [1] -2.498002e-16 > var(

FrontPage Extensions
Has anyone had success getting FrontPage extensions to work with Centos-4. I've been trying to set up a virtual hosting server with front page support. I found this page to help getting around the selinux problems: http://www.rtr.com/fp2002disc/_disc2/00000be5.htm but each problem I overcome I keep hitting another... Just wondering if anyone's had success with this on Centos-4 or if

seemingly simple read.table question
I have a file that I thought would be fairly simple to read in using read.table but I am having problems ( as usual ). each line of the file is of the form ( just 20 lines or so ) financials XXX, YYY, ZZZ automobiles RTR, ABC, TGH so the first field in the line is the industry and the other fields ( seperated by commas ) in the line are stock identifiers of stocks in that industry. note that

Hi, I want to retrieve a function from a source line-number, is this something possible to achieve? I tried the following code snippet with LLVM-7 but it doesn't seem to workhttp://llvm.org/docs/SourceLevelDebugging.html#ccxx_frontend <http://llvm.org/docs/SourceLevelDebugging.html#ccxx_frontend:> Is there specific documentation I can refer to implement this? Not sure what you tried/how it didn't work - could you explain more? You could scan through all the llvm::Functions in an llvm::Module and look at the debug info associated with them (getSubprogram) then check the location of that debug info. - Dave On Tue, May 15, 2018 at 12:46 AM Ridwan Shariffdeen via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > Hi, > > I want to

Two samba 2.0.7, one dialup line and excessive connects ...
Hi everybody. I have to admin two offices, about 500 km apart. Because we're in Germany and dedicated lines (and even VPN ones over the internet) are very heavy in cost, we use a dialup ISDN connection. That is online almost 8 hours a day, but still cheaper. Now the remote office said that their e-mail was too slow and I installed a second samba server for them, being a logon master so

This is all correct and by design. Try : getent passwd username If you running this on a Samba AD DC. If you want to see if you pam setup is done, run : pam-auth-update But still you only see the users with : getent passwd username Greetz, Louis > -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- > Van: samba [mailto:samba-bounces at lists.samba.org] Namens basti via samba > Verzonden: maandag 30

rsync incremental backup problem with --backup-dir switch
Hello, I am using rsync v2.5.6 to backup our entire server filesystem over the network to a central backup server. I have copied the example script from the rsync website (http://rsync.samba.org/examples.html) to create incremental backups, the --backup-dir seems to have a strange side-effect. Everything goes well, but on the server side where the backup is stored I can't seem to break out
