tinc config(?) problems
I'm having a bit of a problem getting tinc up and running between a pair of
RedHat (one 6.0, the other 6.1) boxes. It's installed and configured to the
point where they can connect, but I'm not seeing any traffic passing
between the two systems.
System A looks like -
tinc.conf:
# Sample tinc configuration.
# Insert your own ip numbers instead of the placeholders,
# and be sure to use

Dovecot (director, lmtp) IPv4/IPv6?
Hello,
I'm build system with two director/proxy and dual stack network (or
IPv6-only local services)
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Director say "This also means that a single
director ring must use either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, but not both at
the same time." OK
All servers have 2 interface (public and local network), and all dual
stack IPv4/IPv6, imap/pop (mail) and lmtp (mx) proxy run

Truncating dates (and other date-time manipulations)
Dear all,
I've been struggling to perform common operations on dates that I need
to be able to correct draw date-time scales - in particular I need to
be able to round/truncate/ceiling dates to arbitrary precision - e.g.
to weeks, months or years (or multiples thereof). I haven't been able
to find anything to do this in base R (trunc.Date only truncates to
sub-day units), or in the date

incoming zaptel calls fail
Using the latest SVN of zaptel and asterisk, I can no longer receive
incoming analog calls. The caller just hears it ringing but Asterisk
doesn't pick up.
I am seeing these error messages:

Disk space exhaustion
Hello,
what happens when an instance writes data with 0% available physical
disk space, on QCOW2 images for instance, apart from destruction and
unpredictability?
I'm aware that monitoring is mandatory in production environments, but
are there other known industry tricks to deal with this? Soft/hard limit
settings, autopause/stop, or does KVM react in doing force shut down the
VM in

A strange behaviour of The Bat under Wine - Xorg exhaustion
Though rated as Platinum.
Wine 1.3.27,
KDE 4.6,
Xorg 1.10.4
Nvidia
Problems with running The Bat 4.x, 5.x (release number doesn't matter). With time Xorg server starts to consume more and more processor time, yet the memory and processor usage of The Bat itself remains the same. Closing The Bat restores xorg low process consumption.
If The Bat is run for a few days X-Org would hang.

taskpool exhaustion in lld/wasm
On a 12" MacBook (2017) with 2 cores I get lld/wasm to be stuck in:

It seems the outer for loop exhausts the thread pool, and the inner ones trigger a new parallel for which never finishes because the pool is full. Is this a bug or am I
